TUI BLUE Tamala

Since Tamala join TUI service it has gone down, the premises was amazing 4-5yrs ago would definitely say top hotel 5* in Gambia now it's 3* Cons - Property is not maintained throughout the year meaning management refused 😕 to spend money on building interiors/external e.g painting, carpentery , hot water very spoactic, mosquitoes in rooms are unmanageable, TV channels limited, new TUI menu boring old menu much better with choices & taste. Definitely overpriced accommodation due to the current state. Pro - All staff have always been amazing adapting to changes & maintaining good customer service with management limitations! There go beyond to resolve any issues within their capacity to make your stay pleasurable. The hotel has so much potential but limited resources for staff to work with.

The hotel is nice and the staff is friendly, it would like appreciate if can provide amenities like toothpaste, toothbrush and slipper. Anyway we had amazing time there.

Overall our stay was good but we had issues with a broken phone, a broken fridge and the service was a little slow.

Pitty that the hoel was more a construction site than a relaxing resort, due to important renovation works.

Great hotel! Excellent staff, fantastic facilities, beautiful views. Breakfast was top tier, lots of choices and staff were on hand to help.

Lovely resort with beautiful pools and a nice beach in front too. I was so very impressed by the staff. They work hard and really make every effort to ensure you have a great stay, whether making you a yummy cocktail, serving you food or helping you to move deckchairs around the pool. Rooms are spacious with nice balconies or terraces. I had one overlooking the sea as I didn’t want to hear any pool noise. I’d recommend this, or a garden view, if you don’t want to hear nighttime music. I had a couple of issues sorted out quickly after speaking to the manager and assistant manager. I had lots of massages and highly recommend visit the spa, although it could do with some renovations as it’s quite scruffy, with paint peeling off the entrance. It’s worth walking up the beach to Solomon’s for a sunset drink. I also had a few super meals around the town. I’d definitely return.
