As we checked in, the hospitality by its staff members , cozy ambience , elegant rooms ,flavorful food added more to its beauty. The night bonfire under the moon with sound of splashing river water is another soothing experience there . If you are coming to chhitkul, don't miss to check out Hotel Batseri. In the heart of the Himalayas, nestled among the peaks of Kinnaur, stood Hotel Batseri, a hidden gem awaiting discovery. As I stepped into its welcoming embrace, I felt like I was stepping into a storybook. The morning sun painted the snow-capped mountains with golden hues, casting a mesmerizing glow over the landscape. With each passing moment, the scenery seemed to come alive, whispering tales of ancient legends and timeless beauty. As evening descended, a sense of anticipation filled the air. The gentle river flowing in front of the hotel murmured softly, as if sharing secrets of the land. And then, as if on cue, the moon began its ascent, casting a silver veil over the mountains, turning the world into a dreamscape. But the magic didn't end there. Each night, a bonfire was lit, beckoning travelers to gather around its warm embrace. Under the starry sky, amidst laughter and shared stories, strangers became friends, and time seemed to stand still. In between moments of awe and wonder, the hotel provided a sanctuary of comfort and hospitality. The cozy accommodations, delicious local cuisine, and attentive staff added to the enchantment of the experience. As I reluctantly bid farewell to Hotel Batseri, I knew that its story would linger in my heart forever. It wasn't just a hotel; it was a chapter in my journey, a memory etched in the mountains, waiting to be revisited again and again.

Where do I even start. This property scores very highly in almost every aspect and I really did not expect my stay to be this good in such a remote part of my beautiful country. Location: The hotel is located right next to the Baspa river overlooking the wonderful valley carved by the mighty river and at the center stands the mighty Shoshala peak which has snow throughout the year. The hotel truly has a million dollar view. The hotel is also walking distance from the beautiful Bandri Naryan Ji temple at the Batseri village. The river can also be accessed from the property. There is however a 500 meter walk from the parking lot to the main hotel through an apple orchard. The hotel has a small car to transport you and your belongings from the main gate if need be. Rooms: We stayed in one of their river facing rooms with a private balcony. Our view was incredible. The room is completely wooden and is very clean and cozy. They have a heated mattress for those cold nights. The bed is very comfortable and they have blanket covers, which is a very nice touch. Each washroom has an individual geyser; although, there may be disruption in the power supply due to poor weather at times. Food: The food during our stay was excellent. Try and have your meals on the curated outdoor log tables overlooking the valley, if the weather permits, for an unforgettable meal. Don’t forget to try their local cuisine, especially the famous kinnauri rajma and red rice kheer. Service: Unfortunately, I’m writing this review after a month of my stay and I have forgotten the names of all the wonderful staff members who made our stay memorable. The staff at the hotel are simply incredible. They really look out for their guests and go over and beyond in ensuring that their guests have a wonderful time. The only name that I can recall is that of Mr. Upendra Negi who joined us for our entire day trip to explore the beautiful Sangla Valley. I want to whole heartedly thank the entire team at Hotel Batseri for running this beautiful resort so perfectly and making our stay of 2 nights memorable. I would also like to thank our four legged companion Sheru who guided us around the property and the town in the mornings. To conclude, if you have not visited Sangla Valley, you are missing out. You must visit this hidden gem in Kinnaur and if you are here, book your stay at Hotel Batseri for an unforgettable experience. I cannot wait to come back here.

Lovely hotel , clean rooms, nice staff , food was awesome . You can’t find better place at such a remote location as you get all the needed things at this place. Apple orchids , river flowing right in front of the the hotel , Bonn fire at night , music , what else one could think of during vacations

Hotel Batseri is a boutique hotel tucked in a small village called Batseri 7km from Sangla and about 20km before Chitkul. The hotel is small and cozy with a very warm and friendly staff. We were greeted by Mr Upender ji who was the ***ager, Mr Rajesh who took care of the room service and Mr Vinod ji, the ever smiling porter. The hotel has Deluxe, Executive and another category of room for families. If you are traveling with friends I would recommend going for an Executive category as the rooms in that category gives you the river view. The food in the hotel restaurant was simple and really tasty, Chef Devinder ji is really good and can customise the taste as per the guest's needs. We loved the mixed veggies and the Kachchi Mirch ka Chicken cooked by him. The hotel has a gated parking area which is roughly a 400m walk from the hotel premises. The Parking is well maintained and safety is of no concern. Guests can do a river walk, explore the Batseri village and can even go to Sangla for its cafeterias. The rooms have an electric warmer for the freezing weather for those traveling in winters. It also has a small balcony to sit and cill during the day and the evenings. The rooms are very well maintained and gives a plush feel. Overall I would definitely recommend Hotel Batseri to whoever is planning a visit to Sangla or Batseri.

This place allows you one of the most amazing experiences in one of the quaintest villages in Himachal. With a beautiful location and amazing comfort, the hotel staff's hospitality is like cherry on cake. The rooms are very cosy and have the best arrangements for winters. The food is excellent too. Special mention for Mr.Rajesh who served us a scrumptious variety of vegeration meals. Their General ***ager Mr.Prakash Bharadwaj ensured we had a very comfortable stay and that we were well taken care of. He guided us on things to do around and took care of our safety as well. This place is a must stay if you are visiting Batseri. Evenings with a bonfire, warm comforts of a bukhaari and the chill of snow mountains around, this place will offer it all.

Stayed in room no 310. View from balcony is epic and picturesque. Rooms are too large and with all good facilities. Love the place. Will recommend staying in this place. Road is bit treacherous. From Delhi or Chandigarh one can take a weekend trip.
