Shilla Stay Properties in Seoul

Location is very convenient, just next to Seodaemun station exit 7 or 8. By going across the road (where Lotteria Burger is) and walk along the way in the right, will go to see many small eateries. Slightly further down there is a market selling local foodstuff, including raw ingredients (though not for tourists, but nice to see them to feel the local lifestyle). Overall experience in Shilla Stay is good, recommended. A place not too crowded but not far from busy place like Seoul station, Myeondong, Dongdaemum, etc etc

Location is good with a metro station just opposite the hotel. If you like jogging outside, there is a nice and long jogging track just under the metro line, and you can run up until the Han river according to the local. Cafe service for the morning breakfast is good. Staffs are helpful and polite. Room cleanup service is also nicely done. The wow surprise is a welcoming gift left on the table upon checking in. Some draw back is the furniture. The working table is old with the leather has already peeled off. Usage of toothbrush and paste are chargeable so need to be careful although there are notice being put up.

Overall, I'm really happy with my stay. Even though check-in was officially at 3 PM, they let me check in at 2 PM, which was a nice surprise. The front desk staff spoke excellent English. They even gave me some snacks when I checked in and Seoul Express vouchers and bookmarks when I checked out. The room wasn't huge, but it was perfectly adequate, and the desk was super convenient for eating takeout. The little sofa was a great touch too! The location is fantastic, close to both Yangjae and Gangnam subway stations. On the walk to either station, you'll find plenty of convenient stores like CU and GS25, as well as Paris Baguette, Starbucks, Cha Bai Dao, McDonald's, and Olive Young. Couldn't ask for more!

Room was unexpectedly big. Stayed with my daughter and it was pleasant. Location is conveniently located close to Gwanghwamum & Jonggak. There were plenty of food around the area too. We will definitely go back there to stay :

My friend and I arrived at the hotel much earlier than the check-in time, but the staff still served us willingly and provided luggage storage. The housekeeping service was good. All the staff were happy to help and always greeted us with smiles. The hotel’s location is perfect—right next to the subway station—so we could easily take the train to tourist attractions.

Location is incredibly convenient opposite Coex, room is clean and nice. Reception are helpful but there is constant construction outside which is noisy. Room unexpected had a bath which was a pleasant surprise. Daily breakfast is very underwhelming with the same food served daily, and on all days “hot” food such as eggs, bacon, sausages, potatoes were not hot and were cold. There was an egg station where you could ask staff to cook eggs to order, but it was largely left unmanned and was impossible to get served hot handmade eggs.

Very accommodating and nice stay at the Shilla Stay Hotel. Very happy that we are able to do a morning early check-in with our early flight arrival. There is a 7-11 right on the ground level and transport is easy with the bus network right outside the door (the metro is a bit of a walk but it’s good). The room is clean and there is a view towards Lotte Tower. Good room cleaning and bedding.
