I stayed at this hostel for two weeks from late April to early May, and the experience was wonderful. The location in the Dongdaemun area is perfect—just a few stops from Myeong-dong and Insadong, making it easy to explore all the historical sites. The staff was very attentive and helpful with all my requests. A special thank you to the reception team—the girls are so sweet, kind, and friendly! You truly made my first trip to Seoul special. We had a great stay at OYO Hostel Dongdaemun. The rooms were clean and comfortable, making it perfect for a short stay. What really stood out, though, was the staff—the receptionists are too nice! They were incredibly friendly, always smiling, and went out of their way to help with whatever we needed, which made the stay even more enjoyable.

Just came back from my short trip and it was an amazing place to stay at! The room was small but very comfortable, there was all i needed. Also it was pretty quiet at nights so i had a very healthy sleep those nights~ I only saw one receptionist girl for my entire trip, she was so cute andpolite and we always had warm small talks bout my experience, i was very pleased🥹❣️ There were also many convenience stores around and metro stations of various branches were just around the corner. So yeah, that was definitely 1000/10 in my opinion~ gonna come back here next time!

I like the way that they have bunk beds, the reception people were verry nice I loved the hotel and the breakfast everymorning was verry filling!

Good for solo traveller, room is not that big but good enough for solo. I enjoyed my stay here. Quiet place. Staffs are friendly, helpful and able to speak English. Hostel is walking distance to subway stations. I recommend this place.

From the time i checked in, the woman at the counter was great! She was so friendly with recommending places to see. Found out her parenta have been to Guam! She also regularly checked in on us and was so polite and made our stay great as well.

The location is excellent. The metro station and bus stops are nearby. There's also a bus stop for the airport. The staff was friendly and always ready to help. The room was medium in size, but had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Towels were changed upon request. Breakfast included toast, butter, and jam/peanut butter, or cereal with milk. Coffee and tea were available all day. We were very pleased with our stay.

Very close to the downtown, just 15 minutes walking to an areao with lot of restaurants; nice the open air breakfast area

The hotel facilities weren't as good as they looked in the pictures, and there was no water, toothbrushes, or toothpaste provided, so I had to buy them from a nearby convenience store. Also, the area around the hotel has a lot of adult entertainment venues, so I definitely wouldn't recommend walking back late at night. However, the staff were friendly, and it's probably decent value for money.

The owner was very patient. We had trouble understanding each other due to the language barrier, but they were very kind and patiently explained everything to us.

The Staff is so nice and helpful. Location is good that you can easily to take the Subway, bus and even night airbus. Nice to have the gift when I check out at 3 am, very warm and lovely. The hostel is great for training your leg strength, as there are many stairs😂😂😂. However, it may not good for people with heavy luggage. The common area is located on the 5th floor, which can be a bit challenging to reach but offers a nice view and a comfortable space to relax.

The hotel is nice. The street where it is located is a little scary and dirty. But anyway the hotel is cool, with air con, fridge and TV

The staff were very welcoming, and the location is super convenient. Highly recommend!
