The location is right next to Myeongdong subway station. Although the room is not very large, it is well-equipped with facilities such as a washing machine and hot water. They also provide free breakfast, which is great. I would definitely stay here again next time.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The location is absolutely prime, perfectly situated for everything we wanted to do, with shops, restaurants, and attractions just steps away.The rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. But what really stood out was the amazing view from our room, it was breathtaking and made every morning and evening special. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. Thank you to the entire team for making our trip so enjoyable!

The room was absolutely disgusting; I've never stayed at a hotel where the pictures differed so drastically from reality. The windows weren't sealed properly, letting in cold drafts that gave me a headache. The bathroom was unusable for showering, and its glass window also had a poor seal, making it freezing cold – I even had to wear a winter coat to use the toilet. The air conditioning was erratic, constantly switching between hot and cold, and I was so cold all night I couldn't sleep. I had originally booked for several nights but ended up checking out after just one night because it was unbearable. To make matters worse, I was charged an extra 700 RMB for two nights due to early check-out, which made for a truly terrible experience. The room was incredibly small, I couldn't even open my suitcase. The cleanliness was appalling, and the service attitude was also poor. Everyone, please choose this hotel with caution.

I booked a single room and couldn't sleep at all at night. The window had no curtains, and the outside lights kept shining in. The hotel couldn't solve the issue. Later, Trip.com stepped in and compensated me for one night's stay. The location is good, but if you book a single room, you'll have trouble sleeping during the day and night, so I don't recommend it. The picture attached shows how bright it was even at dawn, so imagine trying to sleep.

The location is excellent, just a stone's throw from Shinsegae and Myeongdong, which is super convenient. While the room is a bit small, for this price, you really can't complain, especially with breakfast included – it's simple but definitely gets the job done. A huge thanks for letting me store my luggage a day early, saving me from having to drag it to Busan. Five stars all the way!

The location is great, myeongdong shopping center and transportation (bus, train, airport bus) is literally just below the hostel.

My first impression was that it was very clean, but a bit small! The bathroom had everything you needed. The location couldn't be better! It's just 100 meters in a straight line to the Shinsegae Duty-Free Shop and 450 meters to Lotte Duty-Free Shop! This place is a godsend for international shoppers, saving a lot of travel hassle. We booked late and didn't get a room with a window, which was a bit of a shame! If you care about your living environment, try to get a windowed room, though they are a bit more expensive. The downside is that the soundproofing isn't great, which isn't ideal for light sleepers. The upside: the breakfast is also very rich! Different kinds of porridge every day! Staple foods include bread, eggs, and cabbage and corn salad! You wash your own dishes. Disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste are provided! Just bring your own toothbrush cup and slippers!

Great location! Very friendly staff at the reception and great service. The only downside was that the windows in our room were not very isolated so there was cold air coming from them but there was additional heater so it was not cold. Also, there was an amazing view from the window!

The hotel is in a great location. The rooms and bathrooms are on the smaller side, and the beds are quite firm and not very comfortable. The pillows are old and didn’t provide much support. The service, however, was excellent—staff were very diligent, kind, and helpful. Guests are supposed to bring out their own towels and garbage, but they even offered to help with that, which I really appreciated. They have free washing machine that was a plus!  Breakfast was good. At first, I thought it would just be bread and spreads, but they actually offer a decent variety that changes daily, which is quite nice for a small hostel. But you have to wash your own dishes after you done. Overall, would I recommend it? Yes, especially for people who don’t mind compact rooms. Would I stay here again? Probably yes, but I really hope they improve the bedding.

57 Myeongdong Hostel is a great choice if you want to stay in a central location. It’s right in Myeongdong, making it easy to shop, eat, and get around Seoul. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were kind and responsive. It’s a simple hostel, but it offers everything you need for a pleasant stay. Overall, a solid and convenient place to stay.

It's very close to the subway station and includes breakfast. The guy at the front desk was super friendly, and there's an elevator. Although there's a pillar in the middle of the room, which was a bit awkward when watching TV, I only came back late to sleep, so it wasn't a big deal. Anyway, it's relatively cheap, and I plan to stay here again next time.

Our last-minute change of plans from Busan to Seoul led us to seek accommodations near Myeongdong. The hotel's location, a mere five-minute walk from Myeongdong shopping street, was exceptionally convenient. We also appreciated the friendly and accommodating staff, who even presented us with a small gift upon checkout. We are grateful for your hospitality.
