Friendly staff, Chinese speaker, sparkling clean hotel, location of the hotel is in an alley, not a big deal to walk a short distance to the main road for uber, room is small for 4 ppl’s luggage to be opened at the same time though, the bed and pillows is comfortable, daily room cleaning is changing the towels only, the towels are clean and soft, ramen is free for the guest, breakfast is good, brew coffee and cereals is available too. Recommended 👍

The staff is friendly and helpful.The hotel is clean and even if you don't ask for towels they change them immediately.

There was no one to assist and there were no amenities and no car parking available. The room was too congestive and uncomfortable.

The hotel was a pleasant surprise, it's in a corner and don't appear much but the room was clean and tidy, all you may need is available, including a washing machine and a dryer available for free. The staff at the reception is extremely friendly and helpful (a big thank to them). Not to mention the hotel is located at walking distance from all the most interesting places you may want to visit. Definitely pleased with the experience.

My partner and I were looking for a quiet and cozy escape, and staying at MJ Hotel Jongno turned out to be the perfect choice! We were a bit unsure about the self-check-in process at first, but it was surprisingly smooth and convenient. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome with their warmth and attentiveness. Our room was kept spotless throughout our stay like fresh towels and trash removal were provided daily, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was simple yet satisfying, and one of our favorite perks was the unlimited Hangang Ramen available 24/7 — the perfect late-night treat after a long day of exploring the city! Also, the location was excellent — we could easily get to Ikseon-dong, Gwangjang Market, Myeongdong, and even Gangnam. It was the perfect base for discovering the charm of Seoul together. If you’re looking for a warm, welcoming place to stay with someone special, we highly recommend MJ Hotel Jongno. We’re already looking forward to coming back on our next trip to Seoul and the next time we visit Korea, we know exactly where we’ll be staying again!

The room wasn't very big, but it was adequate and clean. The location is excellent, only about 300 to 400 meters from the subway station. The receptionist was very friendly and spoke Chinese, answering all my questions. The owner, a Chinese national who has worked in Korea for many years, was very welcoming. When she heard we were returning to China, she bought us some Korean rice cakes to try. Breakfast included bread, milk, coffee, eggs, and more. The restaurant also had a ramen machine for instant noodles.

It's very close to Seonik-dong, only 2-3 minutes away. The food court is very lively at night, and the subway station is about 5 minutes away. There are many convenience stores nearby. The room was not very large, and there were no slippers. Breakfast was included.

Great hotel in the center of Seoul. Located 5 minutes walk from Insadong. Very pleased with the availability of laundry with all the necessary items. Breakfast is delicious and varied.

There were so many bugs in the room. These are just a few of the photos. There's an alarm valve in the room, so it makes a regular noise. On the second day, only towels were provided, but no water. They didn't even make the bed sheets. The air conditioner remote was broken, so I had to replace it. After breakfast, you have to do the dishes yourself. The plates are dirty.

The staff speaks Chinese. The room is small but newly renovated! There's no separate bathroom with separate wet and dry areas. Breakfast is included (fruit, toast, cereal, milk, and a noodle maker), and there's a free washer and dryer, so there's no need to bring laundry supplies.

I stayed in a room with two single beds with my mother. The bathroom was clean and spacious, making showering convenient. It was nice that the basic shower amenities (small comb, cotton balls and swabs, shampoo, inflatable bath pads, treatment, soap, etc.) were provided. I stayed for two nights, and the only thing they automatically refilled was towels, but they didn't provide water bottles, which was a bit annoying. I didn't ask and just used the same water bottle from the shared water purifier on the first floor. Someone also seemed to have taken slippers, but I couldn't use them because there was no instructions. ㅠㅜ It would have been nice to have a desk next to the bed so I could put my phone down and sleep. Overall, I was satisfied! They have ramen available 24 hours a day, and the breakfast was plentiful, with bread, eggs, yogurt, and fruit. Thank you for keeping the other dishes clean and always ready to use. The front desk staff were so friendly. It was conveniently located for visiting Changdeokgung Palace and Jongmyo Shrine. It's near the food alley, so you can eat and drink without worrying about food or coffee. It's also near Jongno 3-ga Station and Anguk Station, which was great. It was a great value and a great location for taking my mother on a tour of Seoul!

It was close to Gyeongbokgung Palace, Insadong, and Jongno 3-ga, making it a great place to enjoy the night view. The facilities were clean. The only inconvenience was the limited parking space, but the staff gave us a spot, so we didn't have to pay for parking.
