UH Suite the Gangnam

I stayed at this place with 3 other girlfriends. Everything was fine and dandy until the morning of our 3 day staying there. Right when we were getting ready to head out, a man opened the door and was taking his shoes off in our room. In shock, one of my friend greeted him thinking he was a housekeeping staff. He looked equally shocked seeing us in the room. Then he apologised and quickly put his shoes on n headed back out to the elevator. My friend asked him if he works at the hotel he says he is staying on the 10th floor. We proceeded to head to front desk to inform them of what just happened. The two female staff just kept talking to each other in Korean and I heard the word ‘master’ in English. I’m wondering if they had programmed his key as a masters key. I have absolutely no clue why or how it happened and they didn’t even try to explain just apologized and offered us 2 bath bombs. I asked them to get back to us on what exactly happened as there is only one unit per floor and who that person is. Didn’t hear back from them. Just saw 2 bath bombs in our room that evening. Even during check out they never explained to me what happened that morning. Security: zero stars

Our favorite stay in Seoul as the room was very clean and cosy. So glad that we chose this room type with 3 bedrooms and 2 spacious bathrooms. The front desk staffs were also very friendly and helpful. They added me on WhatsApp and was very prompt with my enquiries and request. One lady even helped with ordering fried chicken to our room using her account with discount. Appreciate her service 👍🏻 The only cons I encountered was smokers gathering right across the entrance to the lift lobby smoking. Feel unsafe if coming back late at night as a female.

Pros: The room was very nice, bright and clean. The beds were comfortable and the suite was spacious. There is a kitchenette and small fridge and microwave. The bathtub in the living room was also huge, but guests can only use the hotel's designated bath salts. The hotel was also very well situated very close to the metro stop. Cons: The sofa quite uncomfortable; there is only one shower for 3 rooms. There is also loud construction going on nearby, which does not stop at night. The hotel service is also very disappointing. We booked the same room using separate bookings for 2 consecutive nights and the hotel made us check out and check into the same room again, unless we gave the manager a cash payment. The room also only comes with 2 keys, so if you have a large group traveling together, this is cumbersome. Also, the area that the hotel is located is also quite far from the main Gangnam area (about 10-15 mins car ride).

The check in was great and the staff was helpful. The room was amazing with a lot of space and amenities in it. Was great to have a little stove top with pans and plates so we could reheat some late night snacks. Check out was a bit harder as we needed to keep our luggage stored since checkout is a bit earlier, 11:00am and we wanted to do some more shopping. We couldn't find anyone at the front desk and they were not quick to respond so maybe a bit better communication would be great.

Recep is reachable 24hrs via Whatsapp. there’s 7-11 right downstairs with plenty of restaurants. few minutes walk to the train station.

Superb location, near to the subway, olive young, 711 store below, kkanbu fried chicken at the next building. Fresh towels daily, rooms were clean and everything was just perfect for ur girlies trip!
