Lotte Hotel Seoul Executive Tower

City Hall/Myeong-Dong Seoul|0.92km from Alive Museum
Stayed at the Lotte Executive Tower just after the holidays, in a Premier Double Room. Pros: - The entrance of the Executive Tower is absolutely beautiful. Same with the Main Tower. Elegant, refined, beautiful art work. The executive tower check-in desks are on the 15th floor. - Easy access by escalator directly into the Lotte Department Store (from where the escalator takes you to, hang a right to get to the famous food hall!) - Location can’t be beat. Directly across from Eujiro Station (1) and around the corner from Myeong-Dong Walking Street / Night Market and several 7-11s (which are almost as good as the 7-11s in Japan). - Our room was beautiful, spacious, thoughtfully designed and decorated. Very modern touches and upscale finishes. A chandelier in the bathroom?? - Immaculate housekeeping. - Excellent temperature and very strong water pressure in the shower! - Appreciate the 2 complimentary bottles of Evian every day. - Fast wifi speeds. Cons: - Love the Diptyque toiletries but wish they weren’t the communal / shared bottles. There were bits of dried lotion crusted on the pump from the previous occupant. - Weird that neither lobby had a single chair to sit on. What’s up with that? Comes off a bit inhospitable. This isn’t the type of place to attract non-guests / loiterers. A bench wouldn’t kill anyone! - For a 5* hotel and the price we’re paying, it’s disappointing that there is a surcharge should you need a toothbrush, toothpaste or use of the sauna (!!). They claim the charge for toothbrush and paste is to prevent wastage but surely you could just have these small items available upon request at the front desk? - The doormen’s manners range from formal and friendly (some) to indifferent (most) to downright hostile (many), especially if you are not a Korean speaker, as many don’t speak English. I’m not arrogant enough to think they should speak English in a non-English speaking country, but a smile is universal, you know? Would likely stay here again at the right price and given the location.

I was in a hurry to notice that I lost my credit card in Myeongdong, but the front desk kindly responded in Japanese. There was no illegal use and it was safe. Thank you very much. This hotel is close to Kushiro 3-ga Station, so it is a 5 book from Gimpo Airport on Line 1 and it is compact but I like it because it is a room with a bathtub.

There is a window view, live opposite to Nanshan Tower The room is clean and the air conditioner can be adjusted to be cool enough/cold The toilet is too thin to be separated from wet and dry, only towels can be dried There are 2 bottles of water per day, towels and other supplies will be changed every day Can take more water, but will be read by the uncle at the counter (being skewered) You can't order fried chicken on your behalf, you have to install an app for delivery first The location is close to Jongno 3rd Street/Anguk Station, and there are elevator exits It takes a while to pull the luggage, but it's stable and accessible cost-effective

Location: 1 to 2 minutes walk from the station, easy to find. There are two convenience stores nearby, which was very helpful. Service: First of all, the receptionists (both women and men) were kind and polite. When you check in, you will receive a paper with instructions, but all of them are in Japanese and easy to understand. Cleanliness: There is a sense of cleanliness. However, during our consecutive stay, there was a large bee-like insect in the room, which was scary. (We ended up spending time together until the last day...lol) Amenities: There was shampoo and conditioner, but no toothbrushes, soap, etc. I always bring it with me so it wasn't a problem. Please return your towels each time in the basket next to the reception desk, and receive a new towel each time you return them. (Some hotels don't replace towels, so this system was helpful.) The towels were clean. Unfortunately, there was no refrigerator in the room. ●I was satisfied overall. For this price, you can get a convenience store near the station, a bathtub, and a feeling of cleanliness.

Three rooms, two bathrooms, a large living room and a closet. The apartment is spacious, bright and comfortable! All cupboard supplies are available! This short stay life is very convenient! The location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from the surrounding commercial streets! There are also many restaurants, and there are day and night shops opposite the gate! OK

Fantastic location across the street from exit 5 of the Jongno 3-ga metro station. Tons of shops and restaurants nearby. Really cool neighborhood. Loved the room. Really fast wifi. Two beds separated by a partial wall, ideal for travelling with someone you don’t share intimacy with. Bathtub was adequately sized. Beds were soft. Balcony really small, window didn’t allow much light inside. Air purifier in the room. Heated floors! My favourite thing of all is you can control the lights from the tv remote. Although a bit worn down from the outside, the rooms were comfy and I highly recommend it.

It is perfect for one person trip stay. The room is clean, vibe is warm, you will be having Netflix TV but it is in Korean so you need to set it up yourself. The have free drinks in room, and free coffee and toast at counter. It is perfect for a morning rush to airport. As for the location, there are many food stands in the late night supplying authentic Korean food, just try them. However, I need to mention that if you are traveling in two people, do not book standard double room. It will be too small. Note that some of the shift staff cannot speak English. You need to be lucky to wait for the shift that can speak English.
