Vibes and location is best of the best.
But the only down side is theres alot of hidden costs like boat transfer, amenities and etc

It’s good place!
Some good things:
Location,sea life,food,environment,transfer services
Bad things:
No bar,after 10 pm you have to do your own things.Many people were asking for bar..while there was bar at near by resort and music programme
Mouse in the room,cold response on information at midnight by Reception
Many knocks for check soon after breakfast
No proper guidance and services for near by islands…even we tried to go for timba timba islands but we waited but they tell the high boat price and low information

The location of the hotel is very good and has a beautiful view. However, the hotel does not provide toilet paper, and there seems to be no housekeeping during our stay. The hotel did not respond to my query until I made the reservation for the rooms. There are not enough dishes and glasses during the meal times.

The welcome at Lato Lato Resort was warm and pleasant. One staff member, in particular, stood out—he helped us with our trolleys, regularly checked in to make sure everything was okay, and was genuinely friendly and attentive throughout our stay. The staff overall are hardworking and dedicated. It’s also a good idea to bring some cash, as local peddlers often pass by in small boats selling ice cream and fresh coconuts—a lovely and unique experience.
Overall, I’m really happy with my stay. I hope the resort owner sees the photo I’ve added and recognizes this staff member for his outstanding effort—thank you! I had read many negative reviews before coming and was a bit worried, but it turned out to be a wonderful experience.

The receptionist is no friendly but all the working staff over there is ok. The location nice view but the room got cockroach and all the table have ants.

We booked 4 rooms of mixed types. The vibes and the view were exceptional. The service was also good. The staff may seem a little shy and reserved at first, possibly due to being locals, but they were actually very helpful and considerate. We will definitely come back to this place on our next visit to Sabah.
