The location of the hotel is quite good with nice views and Whole Foods nearby. I met with the aircon issue and maintenance mgr helped to change a room quickly. Although it was smaller but problem solved promptly.Streams are out of work and cannot be fixed due to holidays.

Was charged twice for room which would have been not so bad if they were amazing but they weren't. They were tired with dirty rooms with various fixing that were I secure. There was no real point in changing rooms as there was a group of us and the rooms were the same. Wouldn't recommend to anyone wish I'd stayed at the sky ranch which was a much nicer and better value property. Not worth the money avoid

The view was amazing, the shuttle bus service was good, and I was able to enjoy my stay to the fullest. Highly recommended. A friend of mine who has traveled to Sedona five times has stayed here every time.

The view of the hotel is very good. If you travel by tram and have pets, you must choose his home, because they are so caring!

This stay was for a landmark birthday for my wife and I wanted to give her the 5 star experience she deserved. Unfortunately, I was disappointed and underwhelmed with the accommodations. Here are the problems we experienced: The hotel was under construction for renovations. Had I known this was going on, I wouldn't have stayed there. I reserved a room with a king sized bed but was given a room with 2 queens. When I went to the front desk to complain, I was told that they were sold out and I wasn't going to get what I had reserved. When I pressed the issue, the clerk said that she only worked the front desk and looked annoyed that I wasn't satisfied. Now on to the room, there was no patio and the "view" was of the parking lot. We discovered that the water had been turned off without any notification even though I had talked to the front desk 5 minutes earlier. I had to call the front desk because there was no shampoo in the shower and requested that some be sent to us. The TV in the room wasn't connected to the internet and wasn't operational. After the water was turned back on, there was no cold water in the bathroom sink, only the bathtub (for the remainder of our stay). There was no apparent soundproofing in the room because I could hear the guest in the next room having a phone conversation with his wife (via speaker) and at night, I could clearing hear him snoring. And in the morning, his 6 am alarm clock waked us up each morning we were in the room. The room was very spartan in the decorations. Not the 5 star resort that the website alluded to. In fairness, aside from the front desk clerk that was there when I checked in, the remaining staff were amazing! A special shout out to Austin who worked the temporary dining room in the morning and to Guadalupe, who worked the front desk when I checked out.

Lobby was great since it was cold and rainy. Hoped to be outside with fire pits but lounge furniture was wet. Lobby is small. Bring cards! Room was comfy and clean. A step up from standard rooms.

The hotel photos show nice patios and great views. In reality the first floor is open parking directly outside your door (what you would find at a Super 8). Across from the cars parked immediately outside, was a view of the laundry shed. For over $500/night, was not at all what i was expecting! Had none of the luxuries you would typically find - seems small, but had cheap bar soap without a dish to put it in, just used the wrapper. After hiking we were looking forward to sitting in the hot tub, looked great in the photos, in reality was a fenced in area next to the parking lot, no mountain view. If I had paid $250/night, I would have been happy with my stay. I felt like the photos were misleading and was not worth the $500 price tag.

Spectacular views of the Sedona scenery is the reason to stay here. We paid extra for a top floor room and red rock view and very much enjoyed the stunning vistas. King size room has "instagram-able" decor and attributes (I'm looking at you Stick-Hanging-on-a-Rope and Weird-Space-Age-Lamps), but it's narrow, only comes with two bath towels (is that a thing now at hotels?), and lacks bedside lights to read by. The cozy blankets on a southwest ladder were a nice touch for sitting outside, but the two room chairs are not very comfortable for extended sitting by the fireplace. The fantastic patio deck is directly outside the back door and has fire pits and propane heaters with lots of seating choices including tables, couches, comfy chairs. It was lovely to sit with a coffee or drink and watch the sun rise and the sun set and the landscape change colors. Truly special. Not so special was being close to the outside bar/restaurant area which is on the same deck and having nightly revelers partying outside the room. Ask for a room farther away from the restaurant. The hotel seems to be undergoing a management change and/or renovation. We were not aware of the $25 nightly parking charge before we arrived. The staff seemed overworked except for Gino the bartender, Thomas the propane guy, and a nice server on Tuesday. They seemed understaffed, especially considering the large wedding party staying there. Housekeeping is terrific. Food and drinks are okay. (What Southwestern bar runs out of triple sec for margaritas?) In spite of these nit-picks, we would consider staying here again. Location is great, in a quiet area that is easily accessible to trails and restaurants. The amazing Sedona scenery is the star.
