1 Hotel Seattle

The hotel is clean and the room was pretty quiet. We were in Seattle during a heat wave and tried to cool our room but the air conditioning wasn't working properly so we spent the first night too hot. We told the hotel the next morning and their response to us was that in order to maintain a sustainable property the air conditioning will automatically turn off if no movement is detected in the room, meaning that if you're lying in bed the sensor will not detect movement so the air shuts off overnight. They also claimed they were unable to override this feature so we should just deal with it. We kept complaining and they finally moved us to another room where lo and behold the air conditioner worked just fine. Was very frustrating. The parking is also absurdly expensive and unreasonable considering how much the rooms cost. Otherwise the hotel is nice enough - a well appointed gym, nice public seating areas, nice staff. Given our experience though we will not be returning.

wasn’t aware that the hotel name has changed, no one informed us before we arrived until we googled. it is now named denny park hotel. had to pay for amenities fee of $20? never heard of before at any hotel. nonetheless, a clean and comfortable place at a convenient location.

Very nice place. Friendly staff. The bar was cool. Valet parking available
