The hotel is an old English-style hotel. The room and bathroom are large. The bathroom faucet is difficult to control. After the electric kettle is opened, it is not dare to use it. It is necessary to pick up the luggage and make a sound on the wooden building. There are big supermarkets and places to buy food nearby. Convenience

We arrived to find that of our 3 rooms booked and paid for only 2 were available and the other had been sold to another. They made up an disused room for us to replace this sold room. However instead of the ”deluxe room” booked we had a room used for the homeless by the council which was confirmed by the staff. The facilities are very basic and some dont work. Some rooms are better than others. We had 3 rooms. Our bathroom light was intermittent, the bathroom handle was hanging off. The paint is peeling in all rooms. My daughters room was awful and we did not use it. Her bedroom window did not close even at the end of October when cold; The light on the stairway (with no windows) did not work, so the stairs were total darkness; The shower did not work and was hanging off the wall with bare wires; The tv was missing, The carpet was totally disgusting and was covered in so many stains that you didn't want to take your shoes off; Basic kitchen facilities are missing eg no bowls (had to use a lunch box to eat our cereal), other guests are loud and disrepectful... Hairs in the sink and shower; Skid marks in the toilet; Sheets are un-ironed (but a minor point considering); Communal kitchens are a disgrace and not fit for use, microwave disgusting, grease everywhere. No natural light in our room as the blind would not go up, however in another room there was no blind at all, so the light came in the room very early. We only wanted somewhere comfortable to sleep, the location was not so important, however if this is important you need to know this is on a forecourt of a petrol station. The firedoor which said to keep closed, was propped open with the fire extinguisher, which not only meant the door was not closed but there was also a blockage in the doorway. I hate having to leave a negative review but this property just isn't up to the basic standards. The only positives the bed was reasonably comfortable and the room temperature was fine in the rooms where the window closed. Wifi was OK.

Stayed one night whilst visiting nearby North Cave Wetlands. It looks a bit rough from the outside being at a services but don't let that put you off. We found it to be clean and comfortable and quiet. Stayed on a Saturday night and had no issues. Very little noise in the hotel or outside. The room was exactly what you expect from a Travelodge, very basic but clean and comfortable. For £32 it did the job. Took our own coolbox and breakfast with us. Keith on reception was helpful and friendly.

Just stayed at forest pines Had 80th birthday celebrations with my mum and sister spent a sunny afternoon in the pines bar beautiful location we were looked after by bex and flur Who were very professional and made us feel very special and nothing was 2 much trouble lovely girls an asset to your company.have stayed befor and will be Back regards Michelle summerland

Very good hotel could do with a bit of a refresh and clean here and their but the service provided is excellent we need another security door and we need security guards on site 24/7 we also need communal computers and more bins in the communal area but this hotel provides a lot of lovely facilities certainly needs more touch ups and decorating here and their and more involvement with the residents in the community as it can get a bit boring living in here but feel this hotel really cares about its customers and hope it listens to what the customer wants and I think computers in the communal area will complete it the second communal room needs a Nintendo console in it to complete it and having a gym and hotub would complete this hotel I think having a garden of cacti and succulents would make it look brighter theirs certainly a lot of room for improvement but it's a really lovely place to stay I hope my feedback can improve the hotel
