A hotel with a hot spring. The view from the balcony is good. It’s not far from the lake. It’s suitable for walking. If you don’t want to go to the town to eat at night, you can eat at the restaurant on the first floor. The breakfast is pretty good. It turned out to be an international chain

Our second visit and definitely not disappointed! Once again Karma has exceeded our expectations. The staff were amazing and the rooms second to none. An unexpected bonus was the tourist card that allows free travel in the local area plus generous discounts for local businesses. There is a multitude of activities to be had in the area and the scenery is like something out of The Sound of Music. We cannot fault this amazing resort and we will be back!!! Thankyou

Lovely hotel in great location within easy walking distance of the lake and all shops, bars etc. Rooms are exceptionally comfortable and well appointed, staff are amazing with nothing too much trouble and food is top notch. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough it is excellent in all respects.

We recently spent a week at Karma Schliersee in Bavaria. The resort was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Chris made sure we were well versed in the sites and activities of the area and made us welcome on our arrival. The resort is well placed and it is a short walk to the town and lake. The ski fields are also within a short distance. Whilst we visited in summer, we were still able to take a ride on the ski lifts and, although we didn't come down on the trikes or taboggan, we enjoyed watching those that did. We also went to the 3 surrounding lakes and were amazed at their beauty and all the activities they provided. Innsbruck & Salzburg in Austria were within easy access and we also visited Neuschwanstein Castle. Thank you Karma for a wonderful time. Jeff & Jeanette

As usual I left a Karma property with a huge smile on my face! This was Karma Bavaria, in an idyllic picturesque location called Schlieersee- one hour from Munich. Everything was picture perfect, right from being picked up at Munich airport by a taxi we had booked, to the courtesy, hospitality, and smiling service of the staff and the delicious daily breakfast. The resort was so comfortable with swimming pool jacuzzi and steam room which I used practically daily. We stayed there for 5 nights including the 2 day Karma experience. As participants we were treated with some local sightseeing and a visit to a local brewery, a 100 yr old cabin serving local food, an ancient bakery and foraging, which is walking in the forest and gathering and learning about herbs used for cooking . It ended with a delicious 5 course dinner made by the talented chefs Lucia and Augustus and us learning a bit about German cooking. We were lucky that the head of Europe operations Valerios was there. He along with Nihaan made our stay even more enjoyable with their personalised touches. I would like to add that in recent years every Karma resort has been a joy to visit. Last year inJan 23 I went to Hoi An Vietnam for a week. The warmth of the staff there actually brought tears to my eyes I was traveling alone and they took such good care, it was unforgettable. Unfortunately I did not send a review then, so I'm mentioning it now. We went to Martam Sikkim also and to the Kerala resort which was also beautiful.. And a visit to Goa Haathi Mahal every 2 years is a must. We enjoy every moment at Haathi Mahal and therefore go there often. Look forward to visiting many more Karma properties in the future.

We took advantage of a four day experience at Karma Bavaria. We did understand that as this was a promotion we’d need to sit through a sales pitch. However, this was absolutely fine and not at all intense and hard sell, we had a chat and shown around and provided with information. The product was interesting and we can see the benefits but decided not for us. There was no further pressure. The hotel was good, staff wonderful, especially the young waitress from Goa. The room was spacious, clean and spa and pool excellent. We enjoyed Schlersee and area very much. The only minor negative was no air conditioning, this was mid July and temperatures hitting 30C.

The resort is nestled into a perfect view of the stunning Alps. The staff and the front desk are amazingly helpful and speak fluent English. Whether you are looking for directions or a new excursion they will help you. The dining was marvelous also. The food was delicious and the staff was extremely accommodating.

Overall our trip was very enjoyable. This is a classic 4 star hotel, well presented in a beautiful Bavarian location. The rooms are spacious, clean and suitable for all needs. The reception is staffed well with very friendly staff who are more than happy to help with all needs. The spa is wonderful with a nice pool and hot tub, it never got too busy and was great to utilise after active days. The restaurant is nice, the breakfast is perfect for a simple start to the day with lots of options and selection for all. We had dinner on a few occasions and the mains were very good overall, although more veg with the meals would be ideal. The puddings/desserts however were very disappointing especially for the price. The chocolate Lego and apple crumble were below what you would expect but this was the only downside of the restaurant. The rooms were spacious and clean as mentioned, however the beds were very hard and not that comfortable for my liking but this is likely preference. Unfortunately the WiFi also didn’t work during our stay and this was a common issue for many in the hotel which is poor for a 4* resort. This didn’t impact us as we were out most days but for those staying longer it may be an issue.
