"The hotel was a little gem! Staff was friendly and room was super big! Love the location! Walking to shops restaurants etc. My only complaint is the walls are thin. Could hear the neighbors above walking/showering/even talking very good."

"This hotel boasts an excellent location in the Hollywood area. The first floor has a more youthful vibe. 1. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Exiting from the M floor leads directly to a commercial area with plenty of options for dining, entertainment, and shopping. Nearby attractions are all within 200 meters. The hotel doesn't provide complimentary water, so remember to grab some from the large supermarket nearby. McDonald's is just across the street, and a 7-Eleven is also directly opposite. 2. The views are absolutely stunning! We initially stayed on the 20th floor and had a great view of the Hollywood Hills and the iconic sign. We later upgraded our room, and while we no longer saw the logo, the 270-degree city view was equally spectacular. 3. There's a small cafe on the hotel's first floor where we had breakfast. It was very convenient, clean, and reasonably priced. 4. Getting to the Getty Center by taxi from here takes about 35 minutes, typically without traffic. 5. Hotels in Los Angeles all charge a 'destination fee.' This has to be paid on-site and feels a bit like a 'mandatory expense.' I've seen many people complain about it. The perks offered are pretty lackluster, and I didn't use any of them. However, this isn't specific to this hotel; it's a city-wide charge in LA. 6. Regarding the staff, the bellhops seemed a bit unmotivated, and room cleaning was just average. However, the rest of the staff were quite professional. 7. The hotel pool was undergoing maintenance during our visit. Overall, the location is great, it's quiet despite being central, offers good value for money, and feels safe."

"Very classic, elegant and beautiful place, the accommodations are on the small side for the US. The location is excellent and the historical significance will be more attractive than the newness of the facilities. It is undeniable that it is an old hotel, but the service is excellent. The number of sockets and facilities in the room have kept up with the needs of modern travelers. At the same time, it also retains decorations that show signs of time, and it feels very classic. For parking, it is recommended to park in the public parking lot next door. The price is 30 US dollars for 24 hours, but if you park in the hotel, it costs 75 US dollars for one night."

"Kinney still feels like a dressed up concrete block, but has an awesome location close to the heart of Venice. Although it's not one of the spots right on the beach, those hotels are really resting on their laurels and don't operate correctly. Kinney staff are professional and actually do their jobs, you get less ”crazies” and it is extremely clean especially for Venice standards. My only complaint is that the hours of the gym seem arbitrary when it could be open 24/7. Because I only stayed for one night and checked in late, I wasn't able to get a workout in."

"The location is perfect for Venice Beach and short walk from Santa Monica. Bike and scooter rental on the doors step as well as bars restaurants and coffee shops. The staff here are super helpful and the rooms are clean. Great shared space to chill over looking the beach. Tea and coffee facilities 24hr with use of kitchen. Bagels and porridge oats available for breakfast. Shower rooms and toilets spotless with great water pressure."

"This is my second time at this hotel, and I was quite disappointed. The well-stocked minibar and snacks are no longer available in the rooms. I found visible damage in the room, both on the bathroom door handle and the tiles, as well as several damp stains with plaster obviously falling off. The breakfast service on the rooftop was inefficient; I ordered breakfast that never arrived due to an ordering error. Fortunately, they offered us juices."

"Staying near West Hollywood, I received a $10 breakfast voucher upon check-in, which could be used towards my order. However, due to jet lag, I didn't get a chance to use it for breakfast. Before leaving, I asked the hotel staff to exchange the voucher for two lattes to go. The hotel was also very quiet, with large floor-to-ceiling windows offering street views 🏙️. Downstairs, I even noticed the relaxed vibe of Californians on the street. If you find the hotel parking expensive, there are plenty of other parking lots nearby. It's worth looking around before you check in; you don't necessarily have to park your car at the hotel."

"This hotel is located right in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. While it's an older building with a bit of history, the design is fantastic and has a truly unique style. The outdoor pool area is lovely and perfect for relaxing. Overall, my stay was very comfortable; the hotel has both character and elegance. You can't go wrong choosing this place for your trip."

"Very close to the airport, convenient as a transit hotel. They offer a shuttle bus service between the hotel and the airport, running every 15-20 minutes. If you're going from the airport to the hotel, wait at the bus stop on the second floor of the terminal. If you're going from the hotel to the airport, just tell the driver your airline or terminal, and they'll notify you upon arrival and even help with luggage. The front desk staff are very efficient, and bottled water is provided upon check-in. The room is quite spacious, and the facilities are good. Despite being so close to the airport, it's not noisy at all; the soundproofing is excellent. Overall, it's a great hotel for a layover."
