"Our overall experience during this stay was incredibly satisfying. The pool team, in particular, was outstanding. Special mention goes to Chen and Li, who worked from 6 AM to 3 PM; they displayed exceptional professionalism. They were consistently focused and responsible during their shifts, never distracted by their phones, always attentive to the children's safety, and provided meticulous and appropriate service. Their dedication and expertise left us with a very deep and positive impression of the hotel, even making us consider extending our stay. While I don't recall the names of the other pool staff, they too left a strong and positive impression."

"This budget hotel perfectly meets my needs. It's conveniently located, with easy access to transportation and restaurants. The room amenities are complete, including hot water, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi, meeting all your basic needs. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and check-in and check-out were smooth. Highly recommended! When traveling, I'm looking for a great value, and this budget hotel perfectly fits the bill. It's conveniently located, with easy access to transportation and restaurants. The room amenities are complete, including hot water, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi, meeting all my basic needs. There are also two complimentary bottles of mineral water and disposable slippers. The balcony offers a fantastic view, and the soundproofing is exceptional. No matter how busy it is outside, you can close the door and find your own quiet world. With an eye mask and earplugs, a sound sleep is a given. The staff are friendly and check-in and check-out were smooth. Highly recommended!"

"The hotel is located within a large resort complex and overall, it's quite good. The environment is lovely, close to the river, and the night view is beautiful. It's also quite close to Zhangzhou Ancient City; a quick scan and a few minutes on an e-bike will get you there. The hotel offers outdoor children's play facilities and electric sightseeing buggies that you can scan to use. The evening breeze is especially pleasant. Right next to the hotel is an outdoor hot spring, but the service there was a bit mediocre. The dinner buffet at the restaurant was pretty good for 80 per person, with a wide variety of dishes. However, breakfast was 88 per person and had much fewer options, which made the price difference hard to understand. We stayed in an RV with our child during the Chinese New Year. The RV was a bit far out, but calling for a shuttle made getting around very convenient. The soundproofing wasn't great, so it got a bit noisy in the mornings with people passing by. Upon checkout, we received a souvenir: baby talcum powder. Unless you have a small infant, its practicality is somewhat lacking. Overall, I'm quite satisfied and would recommend it."

"The hotel's facilities are undoubtedly impressive and grand. However, I have to complain about the service. I accidentally left a cleaning cloth in the room, and when I returned, there was a note in the room, which felt very offensive and unprofessional. Also, at breakfast, I heard the sound of stainless steel cutlery falling. When I looked, the butter had completely fallen on the floor. The staff didn't even pretend to do anything; they just picked it up and put it back without even washing it. Is this the standard of service and training for Kaiyuan's management now?"

"We brought our child to Zhangzhou for a short holiday. Xiao Zhuang was incredibly thoughtful, keeping track of our itinerary from the moment she knew we were coming. When we checked in, Xiao Wei at the front desk saw we had a child and immediately gave our little one a small gift from Trip.com, which made our child very happy! Aunt Zhang Julan, who cleaned our room, noticed our child wanted to sleep on the sofa and very proactively helped us make up the bed. I'm so grateful to all the staff we met this trip; they made our journey so comfortable and enjoyable."

"Facilities: The hotel facilities are very new, and the rooms are equipped with air purifiers, smart curtains, and self-service washer-dryers, making it very comfortable overall. Cleanliness: The room was very clean, even the corners were spotless, and there were no water stains on the bathroom mirror. The walls in the hallway were pristine white, and even the terrace was immaculate. You can tell they put a lot of effort into running this guesthouse. Environment: The guesthouse's location is excellent, right on Beijing Road which is perfect for photos. There's a small river behind it, which looks especially beautiful at night. It's just a 3-minute walk to the East Gate of the ancient town, and catching a Didi (ride-share) from the East Gate is very convenient and less congested than other areas near the ancient town. With a guesthouse in this location, you could visit it 800 times a day, haha! Service: The ladies at the guesthouse are very gentle and kind. Every time we saw them, they greeted us warmly and proactively recommended good places to eat and fun activities nearby. For the lacquer fan experience included in the package, the lady was so encouraging; even though it was our first time and our designs were terrible, she still praised them highly. Plus, they asked daily if we needed room cleaning, which was very thoughtful. In short, I highly recommend this guesthouse!"

"When the hotel first opened, I saw a video about it, so when I came to Zhangzhou this time, I chose to stay here. Good aspects: The environment is indeed excellent, with a large footprint. The hotel as a whole is grand, and the greenery and views are very pleasant. Soundproofing is decent, and the rooms and public areas are clean. The complimentary sweet soup was delicious, and the fruit was fresh and thoughtful. No strange smells. The parking lot is spacious and clean. Areas for improvement: 1. During check-in, the front desk was aware that three people, including one child, would be staying in the room, but they didn't ask if we needed extra toiletries, nor were any provided in the room. 2. Throughout our stay, we encountered several staff members, but surprisingly, only four of them actively greeted guests: the young man who delivered disposable cups that evening, the cleaning lady (PA) in the public restroom in the lobby the next day, the staff member in charge of the coffee machine at breakfast, and one front desk staff member during check-out. Many others we saw simply walked past us. 3. The room (5320) had insufficient power outlets. Of the few available, the one at the bar counter was not only unusable, but the entire panel was about to fall off when unplugging something. Additionally, the small desk lacked a tabletop outlet, only having one on the floor, which required crouching to use. 4. The floor of the shower stall and the outer floor were basically at the same level, and the drainage trench was shallow. When showering, water would overflow, which was a bit awkward. 5. As other guests mentioned online, the souvenir was indeed 'invisible' and required guests to ask for it. When we checked out, it was Mid-Autumn Festival, and the staff member offered a fan as a gift, which differed from what other guests reportedly received. It also had lower relevance and brand coherence. 6. The Ctrip benefits included a free Didi (ride-hailing) service to the ancient city. The front desk also knew we might go to the ancient city after checking in and were planning to take a taxi, but they did not proactively ask if we needed help arranging a car. In summary, these are my and my husband's brief impressions after our one-day stay. Overall, for the price during the National Day holiday, the hotel offered very good value in terms of hardware services. However, for female guests hoping for certain 'soft' services in a five-star hotel, it doesn't meet the value and expectations for its price point."

"Because the highest rating is five stars, if you give it casually, I will give ten stars! It is really impeccable to the extreme! Warm and considerate! Think about what the guests think. We stayed for three nights and were reluctant to leave! This is also the source of our most impressive impression of Zhangzhou when we came to Zhangzhou for the first time. I will stay here next time! The price-performance ratio is really super super high. During the May Day holiday, they charged more than 300 yuan a night, sent midnight snacks, and helped us book a car to the station. They also sent brown sugar ginger tea to guests who were on their menstrual period. The service is first-class! Come again next time! Zhangzhou has low consumption, high happiness index, and good climate! Zhangzhou people are warm and hospitable, I like it very much!"

"I had a great stay! The front desk staff who checked me in was very welcoming and accommodating. They even assigned me a high-floor room with excellent natural light, just as I requested. This is definitely one of the top hotels I'd recommend in Zhangzhou, and it's great to see an international brand from the IHG group here. The hotel's buffet dinner was quite rich and offered good value for money."
