"The self-check-in was fully automated, and it was right next to the ski slope, though that didn't really matter. The room was super well-equipped with an induction cooktop, microwave, fridge, and various kitchen utensils. There was even an oven, but I couldn't figure out how to use it. The sofa bed wasn't very comfortable, but it was alright for a short stay. It's really convenient to stay here if you're skiing at Genting, but getting to Wanlong from here is quite a detour."

"I stay here twice a year, and luckily I got room 506 in Building 20 again. It's a two-bedroom duplex with straight-up, straight-down stairs, spacious rooms, three separate bathrooms, and a lovely balcony with an amazing view. In winter, you can ski-in/ski-out, and in summer, if you're into downhill biking, you can easily head straight back to the hotel to relax. Since the hotel lobby is in Building 8 and we were in Building 20, we had to rely on the shuttle service for transfers every time. A huge thank you to Master Liu!!! He's incredibly thoughtful and even remembered us from our summer stay. Even after half a year, he recognized our family right away when he saw us – it was so heartwarming ❤️"

"I booked a quadruple room, but I received a call from the front desk before arriving, saying that it was rainy last night, and the quadruple room was leaking, so it was quite comfortable to upgrade to a loft apartment for a five-person room for free. According to the flying carpet provided, I went to the top of the mountain, the swimming pool, fed the small animals, watched the flowers and watched the sunset. It was a joy. When I went down the mountain, I encountered blacksmithing flowers, and the lights were bright after dinner. Very satisfied."

"Hotel breakfast is really good with a couple of live stations for noodles and eggs. Rooms were also clean and hotel staff was mostly speedy and helpful. Note that there there’s no shuttle directly to the fulong ski resort, it’s a 1km walk around 15 mins, or a 5 min didi. It’s a 15 mins didi to wanlong ski resort which is also pretty convenient. The two way shuttle from the hotel to the chongli train station only lasts while the fulong resort is open so since we caught the end of the ski season, we no longer had the shuttle service to the train station but the didi was just as convenient. I liked that the location was near ski shops, restaurants and food, and even a pharmacy 200m away."

"I bought a pre-sale voucher, and it felt like a pretty good deal. I chose InterContinental to relax after a terrible stay the night before I went skiing. Since we arrived late in the evening, the signs weren't very clear. It felt like the InterContinental lobby was off to the side, not as grand as the hotel next door. Check-in was smooth, and the room was excellent with complete facilities. The only thing was that the bathroom door was too heavy, and it got a bit warm after closing it. The breakfast selection was varied and delicious; my family loved it. It would be even better if there was a sign for the cold food section, as we didn't notice it at first and wondered why there weren't any salads or fruits. Here's a small piece of feedback about the dining experience: Our group of 5 was led to a table further inside the restaurant upon arrival. There were clearly clean two-person and three-person tables available by the entrance, which could have been pushed together to make a five-person table. Instead, we were seated at a five-person table (also made of a 2+3 combination) that hadn't been fully cleared yet, which was quite puzzling. I sent my family to get food, and during that time, I noticed the server prioritized setting up cutlery at an empty table nearby instead of first clearing and setting our table. There were two male servers in that area, who seemed to be new. Their plate clearing and service awareness could use improvement. One of them was quite slow and looked a bit tired, only clearing empty plates from our table after being prompted by a supervisor. In contrast, the male server in the entrance area was quick, efficient, and well-organized at clearing tables. The service difference was quite noticeable."

The cafeteria, on the other hand, is quite good."

The decoration of the hotel is full of the atmosphere of the Winter Olympics, and every detail reveals a tribute to the Olympic spirit. For guests with an Olympic complex, it is undoubtedly a full-of-emotion accommodation experience. However, the sanitation of the room needs to be improved. The floor should not be cleaned, especially cigarette butts were found in the toilet, which not only affected the mood of the guests, but also reflected the negligence of cleaning work. "Originally, for this ski trip to Chongli near Beijing, Genting was my first choice. However, I have a soft spot for big brand hotels, so when I saw there was a Crowne Plaza, I switched to it. Firstly, I love that the rooms have wooden floors, and secondly, the balcony view from the room is absolutely stunning! I couldn't get enough of the mountain and lake views; every day, besides skiing, was spent just taking photos. The hotel service was also incredibly satisfying, especially our butler, Linda Fan. She was exceptionally thoughtful, patiently showing us rooms until we were completely happy. Her warm and helpful service made this trip very enjoyable, and I'm very grateful. I also want to mention the hotel's breakfast – a rich variety of delicious options."

"Came here to ski during the Chinese New Year holiday, and Genting is an old favorite of mine. I have to give it a 100-star rating this time! I happened to catch the two windiest days of the ski season, but Genting's gondola, though a bit slower, kept running as usual. Genting's ski resort has the shortest queues, and most of its slopes are south-facing with great visibility. I managed to hit all the advanced runs twice over the two days, starting the new year with full energy and passion. It was fantastic! The hotel was prompt with water delivery, the hotpot wasn't expensive, and the front desk even gave us a late check-out since we had a child with us. All in all, it's the best hotel in Chongli, absolutely loved it!"
