"Staying at Yangzhou Yingbinguan, I felt the full romance of a spring day in Jiangnan ✨. I took my mom on a trip to Yangzhou and was instantly smitten with Yangzhou Yingbinguan! From check-in to check-out, every detail perfectly hit the mark for aesthetics and comfort. Half of the joy of this trip came from this amazing hotel! 🏡 Living in a Jiangnan Garden, every step is a poem. The entire complex is a massive traditional Chinese garden, with pavilions, towers, small bridges over flowing water, and rockeries. In spring, cherry blossoms and crabapples are in full bloom, and black swans gracefully swim on the lake. Even the air is filled with the fragrant scent of plants and trees. We stayed in Building 11, and the hotel thoughtfully prepared welcome gifts: 'Mi San Dao', 'Xiao Mabing', and 'Niupi Tang' from Qilin Pavilion, along with specialty pastries embossed with 'Yangzhou'. The room facilities were also very new. Shuttle carts were available on call throughout the park, making it super convenient to get from our room to Quyuan or other places. It was so thoughtful for traveling with seniors, as they didn't have to walk too much! 📸 Hanfu Styling, bringing the spring vibe to life. The package included a Hanfu photoshoot, located on the first floor of Building 11. There were dozens of Hanfu styles, and the free options were quite good. If you preferred, paid options were an additional 100 RMB. We also added makeup and styling for 100 RMB per person. The makeup artist was excellent; even with many guests waiting, she was very dedicated. The photographer was also great, skilled at guiding poses. My mom's photos turned out gentle and elegant! We received 5 free lightly retouched photos, and additional retouches were only 20 RMB/photo, which was good value for money. 🍜 Quyuan, a Black Pearl Restaurant. Quyuan Teahouse, a Black Pearl 1-diamond restaurant, is conveniently located right within Yingbinguan, meaning you don't have to leave the hotel to experience it! It does get very busy, so it's a good idea to get a number in advance and then explore nearby. The hotel's own breakfast was also excellent. 🚶‍♀️ Direct Access to Slender West Lake, no queuing is a blessing! On the second day, to visit Slender West Lake, the hotel has an exclusive fast lane! No need to wait in long queues at the scenic area entrance; you can enter directly from the hotel grounds. This was truly stress-free for traveling with seniors (normal admission tickets are still required). The hotel garden seamlessly connects to Slender West Lake. In spring, Slender West Lake is vibrant with green willows and colorful flowers, with beautiful scenery at every turn. 🎭 Intangible Cultural Heritage Mini-Theater, an immersive experience of Yangzhou folk customs. During the holidays, the hotel arranged an 'Intangible Cultural Heritage Mini-Theater', which truly amazed us! Yangzhou puppet shows, Yangzhou Qingqu opera, and Yangzhou Pinghua storytelling were performed in rotation. The performers were all professional, and acts like puppet calligraphy and pipa serenades were full of Yangzhou charm. This trip to Yangzhou, Yangzhou Yingbinguan truly gave us so many surprises. From the garden landscape and thoughtful service to the delicious food and intangible cultural heritage experiences, all the beauty of Yangzhou was concentrated here. When traveling with your mom, choosing the right hotel is so important! Next time I come to Yangzhou, I will definitely stay here again!"

"The resort's overall environment and landscaping are absolutely beautiful, with a very comfortable Jiangnan-style (Southern China) aesthetic. We stayed in a private hot spring villa with a well-designed layout and excellent privacy. It's pet-friendly, and although they charged a 300 RMB fee, our dog had a great time. The private hot spring requires two hours to fill in advance, and the staff taught us how to heat it, which was a good experience. However, they didn't show us how to drain it, and when we asked the next day, we were told, 'We already taught you yesterday,' which was a bit… *cringes*. Drawbacks: I've stayed in similar types of accommodations at this price point, but the service here wasn't as professional by comparison; there's room for improvement. The facilities are a bit dated (TV, air conditioning, water dispenser), the curtains were inconvenient to use, and the bathrobes seemed old. The check-in process wasn't very clear, and the public hot spring was crowded and not very clean. Overall, the good outweighs the bad. The environment and private hot spring are big plusses, making it suitable for a relaxing getaway."

"I chose this hotel for my weekend city walk in Yangzhou, and every Hanjin hotel has its own unique charm. This particular Hanjin is near Slender West Lake, and most popular restaurants are within walking distance, so I highly recommend its location! I stayed in a Jing room this time; though it didn't have a balcony, it was clean and all basic amenities were fine. I must give a special shout-out to Xiao Liang and Xiao Yao from the hotel! Their service was absolutely amazing! They were so patient and proactively offered help to guests! Thumbs up to these two gentlemen! Also, the hotel's complimentary bedtime sweet soup really impressed me! It was a stewed milk dessert with tremella, peach gum, and bird's nest! It wasn't overly sweet, and you could tell the ingredients were high-quality. Super good!"

"The room was tall and spacious, and the cleaning lady was exceptionally warm and diligent, even cleaning the glass partitions. This Hampton by Hilton has truly excellent hygiene. I had such a wonderful time exploring the local cuisine in Yangzhou; every meal was cleared! The people along Slender West Lake and Qinhuai River were all so cultured and sophisticated, which is really impressive! I'll definitely stay at this hotel again on my next visit!"

"The room environment is great, and the facilities are very new. Most importantly, the front desk guy was really enthusiastic. Not only did he prepare energy snacks and fruit for me (I was there for a marathon), but he also thoughtfully helped me extend my check-out until 3 PM. Before I even checked in, he gave me all the important details about the Yangzhou Marathon. He was truly considerate! The hotel's location is excellent, close to the bib collection point."

"Staying at the Shangri-La Hotel Yangzhou was an experience enveloped in luxury and comfort from start to finish. The room was spacious and elegant, exuding a grand Chinese aesthetic. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the bathroom facilities were high-end and fully equipped, with thoughtful details evident throughout. The dining was exquisite, offering authentic and traditional Huaiyang cuisine. The buffet had a rich selection and excellent flavors, ensuring delicious culinary delights from morning till night. The swimming pool offered expansive views and crystal-clear water, in a quiet and upscale environment, making for a truly enjoyable swim. The gym and other amenities were also comprehensive and well-equipped. The service was attentive and thoughtful, making for an overall luxurious and pleasant experience. Whether for a vacation or a business trip, it's an absolutely superb choice. Finally, a special thank you to Guest Services Manager Emma. Her attentive and meticulous 'Shangri-La style' service made our stay truly wonderful. She is a true paragon of professionalism in the hotel industry. I will definitely book Shangri-La again on my next visit to Yangzhou. Looking forward to seeing the lovely Emma again!"

"We stayed here for one night at the start of our Yangzhou trip to enjoy the hot springs, and overall it was a mixed but pleasant experience. The room was large and spacious, which we appreciated, but it didn’t feel especially comfortable or cosy compared to other hotels we stayed at later in the trip. The layout felt more functional than relaxing. One important thing to note is the private hot spring attached to the room. While it sounds great in theory, in our case it was located close to a road and not very private, with limited screening. The shower area was also visible from outside, which made it feel a bit awkward to use and reduced the sense of privacy we were expecting. That said, the service was excellent. Staff were friendly, helpful, and genuinely attentive, which made a positive difference to the stay. The location is very nice, especially if you enjoy walking. The hotel is close to Slender West Lake, with its beautiful old bridges, pathways, and water crossings — very pleasant for a slow walk. We also enjoyed having tea by the lake, although it was a long walk from the hotel. Breakfast offered a good variety, but most items didn’t feel very fresh. The coffee, unfortunately, was among the worst we’ve had — definitely not one for coffee lovers (said with a smile 😄). Overall, this is a good option if your priority is hot springs, walking access to the park, and attentive service, but it may not suit travellers who value privacy, comfort, or a more refined in-room hot spring experience."

"Booked two rooms with Raddison Red. The rooms were clean and spacious, the receptionists were friendly and engaging. Breakfast had plenty of choices with good quality coffee. The manager who managed the breakfast bar was friendly and warm, and spent time chatting with each table. We forgot our Mac charger and the hotel took no trouble to arrange it to be delivered to our next hotel Nanjing the following day!!! Amazing service and went above and beyond! Thank you."

"This guesthouse is located beside the Slender West Lake. It is within the walking distance to the entrance of the Slender West Lake. You can see it from the cafe. The room is very spacious and clean. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. They were carrying our luggages from the entrance to our room. The breakfast is a set menu with noodles or congee, hard boiled egg, salted duck egg, steamed meat bao, steamed vegetable bao, and fruits. We also encountered two very friendly kittens. Highly recommended!!"

"The hotel upgraded for free, the room is big and clean! Both the front desk switchboard and the room service are super meticulous and patient! Super cost-effective! It is a 6-minute drive to Yangzhou Station, very convenient! During the two-day tour of Yangzhou, all the people in the service industry I came into contact with are the business cards of Yangzhou tourism, and their service awareness is really super strong! Give Yangzhou a big thumbs up~"
