"A truly hidden gem and for our family the best hotel in China of our trip through China. The very kind people speak really good English and helped us with arranging trips in the environment but unfortunately the bamboo raft was sold out. Therefore my advice to book this in advance on trip.com."

"This is a great hotel, and if I ever return to Yangshuo, this will be the place I will stay. Very clean, great location which is close to the downtown area, but not so close it's annoying. The service and attitude of the staff are excellent; they are all friendly and helpful. The pool area is absolutely beautiful. The included breakfast is ok, but there are times when there aren't enough seats for all of the guests. I wouldn't say the food is bad, but you won't take pictures of it to post online. Let's put it that way. The pool is only open from 16:00 to 21:00 in July and August. The gym is very basic and it's in the lobby, so not a lot of privacy to do any form of exercise. I didn't see anyone use it. Overall, it's an excellent hotel. Just leaving some friendly feedback to help them improve, but I'd definitely recommend this hotel!"

"One of the best hotels I have been to, probably the best in China! I was planning to stay one night, but fell in love with the hotel and extended one more night!!! I was totally impressed, it was better than expected! Everyone in the reception was very friendly and attentive to all my needs. They also upgraded my room for free (unexpected surprise)!! The view was breathtaking, and it looked like a landscape painting. The overall environment was warm and quiet. The location was great, transportation was convenient, with hotel buggy helping with transfer from one building to another, and the room was super clean, good for fussy people like me. The housekeepers, Xiaoying and Xiaogu, were very thoughtful and helped me solve many problems. There is a wechat group where there's a group of people working in the hotel to help solve problems, and the response is immediate! Also, the photographer, Cai Cai, took beautiful photos with great photography skills!! I also loved the dress I rented from the shop. ❤️ Such a memorable stay, will definitely come again!! ❤️"

"The location is absolutely superb, right within the scenic area. The scenery is picturesque, with stunning views from every window. Our family was so content that we didn't even want to leave the hotel, as we could soak in all the beautiful outdoor scenery right from our room. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, assisting with our luggage upon arrival and departure. Their thoughtfulness really stood out. A huge shout-out to everyone – from the welcoming staff to the front desk, and even the lovely lady serving breakfast; their service was truly exceptional, a refreshing change from what you sometimes find at smaller guesthouses. The hotel is surrounded by tourist attractions, with the bamboo raft pier just a stone's throw away. It was a pity we couldn't get tickets; otherwise, we would have happily extended our stay for another day. The bridge right in front of the hotel also offers breathtaking views and is incredibly photogenic. The staff at the bike rental shop opposite the hotel's parking area were also very pleasant. However, cycling back at night, a stretch of the road felt quite scary as it was extremely dark. And finally, the breakfast noodles were wonderfully fresh and flavorful. They tasted delicious both with and without chili – a definite must-try!"

"I had a really lovely stay at LiYu Hotel. It’s a simple, affordable place but surprisingly clean and comfortable for the price. What really stood out was how helpful and kind the young guy at the reception was—he really went out of his way to help with everything I needed. The location is super convenient, just a short walk to West Street and all the action, but the hotel itself is in a quiet enough spot to rest peacefully at night. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it for budget travelers or anyone looking for a good value stay in Yangshuo without compromising on cleanliness or hospitality. "We absolutely loved this hotel! The location was great, the staff were friendly and could speak English, and the food at the hotel was amazing. This was one of our best experiences in China. I would recommend this place to anyone. The villa/farmhouse we stayed in is perfect for big groups. The villa/farmhouse has 5 big bedrooms, each with its own bathroom with a shower and western toilet. The food at the hotel was brilliant! The courtyard in front was lovely in the mornings for breakfast, and the restaurant on the roof was amazing in the evening, looking over the mountains. We loved it, will definitely be back there soon! Thank you for an amazing stay and friendly hospitality."

"Hotel staff allowed us to check in before 2pm as we arrived early. Cozy hotel with a nice view beside the river, one can see local people going about their daily lives along the river bank.. 2 horses can be seen in a nearby tiny island. Location of hotel quite close to 西街. most of Yangshuo's tourist spots are around 4mins away by car. Room is clean, tv has many nice channels, toilet was clean and well equipped. Just that bathing area is only one glass panel away from bed. Roof top bar offers afternoon tea with nice drinks, fruits, desserts."

"We loved the Riverview Hotel which had an excellent location right on the river bank - close to the river bank, and walking distance from the ferry terminal and from the night market and West Street. The room was spacious and clean, and it was great to have the restaurant downstairs for quick meals."

The infinity pool was absolutely stunning – you could swim while admiring the mountain views, and every snap you took looked like it belonged in a magazine! The owner was incredibly hospitable and attentive. They even helped us plan our sightseeing routes beforehand and recommended some fantastic local eateries that only locals know about – absolutely no tourist traps! The room itself was very spacious, with an open layout that felt airy and inviting. The smart amenities were incredibly convenient, allowing one-touch control for lighting and curtains, making our stay both comfortable and effortless. This guesthouse significantly enhanced our Yangshuo trip. I've already recommended it to friends, and I absolutely plan on staying here again on my next visit!"
