Scenic Hotels in Wuyishan

"Before setting off, I searched for many hotels in Sangu Old Street on Ctrip and eventually settled on Impression Grand Hotel. I initially booked an elegant twin room on the fifth floor, but after reading reviews, I learned that the fifth floor isn't directly accessible by elevator. So, I found the hotel's number online and called. The owner readily offered me a free upgrade to a business room with elevator access. When I arrived at the hotel the day before yesterday, the owner kept his word and immediately arranged two business twin rooms for me. During this process, the owner patiently had staff accompany us to choose rooms until we were satisfied, which made us very happy and content. The hotel rooms are quite spacious, clean, and tidy. The hotel's location is quiet despite being in a bustling area; you can't hear any outside noise when sleeping, and the soundproofing between rooms is also excellent – no sounds from neighboring rooms at all. The hotel breakfast is plentiful, offering both Chinese and Western options with a wide variety. The hotel is only a 10-minute walk from Sangu Old Street. We stayed for three nights, and the overall experience was great, mainly due to the incredibly enthusiastic owner and staff. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent value for money."

"I was a bit hesitant before booking, but decided to trust Xiamen C&D Group's reputation as an established five-star hotel, and it certainly didn't disappoint. The room was spacious, and the sofa bed was perfect for my 11-year-old. The view of Dawang Peak from the balcony was lovely, and it was very quiet at night. The front desk staff and housekeeping were all excellent, and the cleanliness was reassuring. Breakfast was plentiful, with a great selection at the noodle bar and local specialties. My child wanted to go swimming after hiking, and in the evening, there were very few people. The deep end of the pool was over 1.5 meters, and the water quality was good. The outdoor pool was also filled and looked very clear, but unfortunately, the weather wasn't warm enough in late April to try it out. The hotel's location is convenient; it's easy to get to scenic spots by free bus or taxi, and Sangu Old Street is just across the road. Overall, we had a very comfortable three-night stay at the Yuhua."

"Pros: The location is excellent. You can take a direct bus from North Station to Lantang Station, and after getting off, the entrance is just 100 meters ahead. When sightseeing, Wuyi Palace is a short walk from the hotel's main entrance. From the Wuyi Palace stop, you can catch the scenic bus which takes you to all the attractions, making it incredibly convenient. Staying here eliminates the need for repeated taxi rides. The scenery is beautiful; if it rains, the misty Dawang Peak is absolutely stunning. The staff are simple, yet professional. Cons: The hairdryer kept cutting out after a short while, which was very inconvenient for women with long hair. If this bothers you, I recommend bringing your own hairdryer."

"The family room features a bed and a small tea table, perfect for having tea and chatting with friends. The front desk staff was incredibly kind; seeing I had twisted my ankle, she proactively moved us from the third floor to the second and even helped carry our luggage up. They mentioned it's an old building, so there's no elevator. One suggestion I have is that since the stairs are quite wide, they could consider installing a ramp on the staircase. This would make it much easier to slide luggage up, saving guests a lot of effort."

"We enjoyed the hot tub and pool. Breakfast dishes were not replenished when we were there at 9am for three mornings. However, the congee and eggs were enough for us. We walked to the entrance of the Wuyishan National Park (about 1.5km) and also walked back from Impression Da Hong Pao (about 1km) after the show at night. We enjoyed walking so the distance is not an issue for us."

"這次帶小朋友來武夷山，入住了這家新開的民宿。整體體驗不錯，記錄一下。 民宿是偏日式原木風的設計，整體乾淨整潔，色調柔和，沒有多餘的裝飾，看着很舒服。房間裏的親子佈置比較用心，兩張床都鋪了帶卡通動物圖案的床旗，窗邊的榻榻米上擺了不少毛絨玩偶，書桌和角落也放了恐龍公仔和搖搖馬，小朋友看到這些東西，很快就安靜下來自己玩了。房間裏備了武夷山本地的礦泉水，茶台和燒水壺也都有，泡上巖茶，就能慢慢歇着。 民宿的環境超出預期。房間外的庭院有流水造景和錦鯉池，不管是坐在窗邊發呆，還是在院子裏散步，都很放鬆。 這家民宿還有甜品，味道很好，小朋友很喜歡。工作人員態度温和，響應也及時，有問題找前台都能很快解決。整體來説，這家民宿很適合帶小朋友來武夷山的家庭，環境、設施和服務都能滿足需求。"

"The rooms are bright, well-designed, and show great attention to detail. The bathroom has a wet/dry separation and modern fixtures. The guesthouse is located right in Tianxin Village, which is the core of the scenic area. It's close to Wuyi Palace, and just across the street from the old town, making dining and shopping very convenient – even food delivery is incredibly fast. The tea area in the lobby is excellent, perfect for business meetings or for friends and family to enjoy tea and reminisce. The guesthouse also has its own parking spaces, which is great for self-driving tours. Overall, the single rooms are on par with a four-star hotel, and as a guesthouse, it offers incredible value for money."

"We were in Wuyishan for a chat and tea at a friend's tea house, and booked this hotel last minute for an overnight stay. When we arrived late, our reserved room had a facility issue and couldn't be used. However, the hotel quickly arranged for us to stay at their sister property, Guanlan, right next door, and even upgraded our room. The butler was incredibly helpful! The hotel environment is lovely; stepping out onto the balcony, you're greeted by mountains and a stream. All the bathroom fixtures are Kohler, and the rooms have smart controls and even underfloor heating, which was a pleasant surprise! Being close to the mountains, the underfloor heating addressed my concerns about dampness. The AC also adjusted temperature quickly, and the toiletries smelled great! The hotel is a courtyard villa that integrates a tea house, brunch, and guest rooms. It's fully equipped and away from the hustle and bustle – a perfect spot for a vacation! Highly recommended!"

"A very nice hotel! I chose this hotel for a day trip to Wuyishan with friends. It has a beautiful courtyard, and the service, cleanliness, environment, and facilities were all excellent – ​​everything was comfortable. The owner even made tea for us downstairs, and it was very convenient to ask for tourist information. She patiently answered all our questions and even helped us book discounted tickets for the Impression Dahongpao show. Very warm and thoughtful! Highly recommend booking here!"

"What an amazing find of a nice cosy hotel with hard to match friendly hospitality and home atmosphere. It's located in a quiet and easy to get to street with easy accessibilty. As it's our first time here we found the assistance accorded tremendously helpful. Whether it's with places of interest to visit or favourable restaurants the recommendations were spot-on. We also found the friendly advice of local culture useful. The tea sessions with the landlord are memorable. We highly recommend a stay at this hotel if you should be thinking of making a visit to this region. We very much look forward to our next visit."
