Hotel near Napa Sea Scenic Area,Shangri-La
The estate designers perfectly combined the comfortable traditional accommodation with the beautiful natural scenery of the snowy plateau to create this stunning hotel that cannot be replicated. Located in the Prairie Scenic Area of Napa, facing the eighth highest mountain of the region, the Mount of the Goddess "Shikashi," The ancient city, airport, railway station and bus station are only a 10-minute drive away, and the door is filled with endless grasslands and wetlands, with yaks and horses and a wide variety of large wild migratory birds. The geographical location is unique. From the city to the integration of nature, Xinsuo, Under the Dome, "Xinsu · Qionglusiye" is waiting for you!

"Out of all the places I've stayed in Yunnan this past week, this was by far the best guesthouse. I'd actually saved it in my favorites back in 2022, so I was really excited to finally visit. The views are incredible, the room is spacious, and there's a lovely little courtyard perfect for stargazing at night. Outside, there's a huge meadow where you can hang out with various animals during the day, and Napa Lake is right next to the hotel. The next morning, the butler even helped me get to the high-speed rail station at 6:30 AM, which I really appreciated. In the hotel lobby, you can help yourself to complimentary bottled water, fruit, and snacks. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and as my last night in Yunnan, it was truly unforgettable!"

Hotel near Dukezong Old Town,Shangri-La
At an altitude of 3,300 meters above sea level, Shangri-La hides a thousand-year-old moonlight city - the ancient city of Dukezong. This is the imprint of the Ancient Tea Horse Road, the Sanskrit sound of the first return, and the holy place in the hearts of countless travelers, "the closest place to heaven". And**Xingzhiyue Yixing B&B**, it is hidden in a quiet corner of the ancient city, becoming a window for you to touch heaven. Living in the poetry of **, the location is excellent: 5 minutes walk to the square street in the center of the ancient city, Moonlight Square and Guishan Park are close at hand, but avoid the noise and enjoy the tranquility alone. Sip butter tea by the fire pond and listen to the stories of collectors, wait for a sunshine gold mountain on the terrace, or visit the nearby Songzanlin Temple and Napa Sea with the host. Warmth like home: floor heating, humidifier, 24-hour hot water, intimate service against high reaction, let you feel like home. Walking to Shangri-La, this is not only a place to rest, but also the beginning of a story. **The joy of doing is also good**, I am willing to protect the sun and moon in your heart with a bowl of hot yak hot pot and a dim butter lamp.

"Toast family feast bonfire party 12% off: The owner is super nice and helped us book the Toast Feast, securing us a great spot. The price for the feast was also very reasonable, even cheaper and better than what's offered online. ******* attire photoshoot 12% off: The photoshoot recommended by the owner's wife was also excellent. Not only was the price fair, but the service was also top-notch. Welcome fruit: The staff who picked us up from the airport were incredibly welcoming. There were lots of snacks, delicious milk, and very sweet mandarins. The owner and staff had fantastic attitudes, recommending many great places to eat and fun activities. The facilities in the hotel are very new, making it perfect for friends and family to stay and enjoy their vacation!"

"This stay far exceeded my expectations! The room looked exactly like the photos, even better in person. The overall aesthetic was warm wood tones and light colors. The bedding was soft and gentle on the skin, and the wet/dry separation in the bathroom was very well done. The mirror and vanity were spotless – excellent attention to detail. The biggest surprise was the public courtyard. The carved wooden beams and stone-paved ground created such a wonderful atmosphere, filled with greenery. It was incredibly pleasant to sit there and enjoy a cup of tea. The owner was also very thoughtful, providing detailed instructions before check-in. The room even had a smart fresh air system, so it never felt stuffy. The location was also very convenient – quiet but not out of the way. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!"

Hotel near Dukezong Old Town,Shangri-La
Yixin Moonlight Dust HYGGE|Space Art Hotel (Dukezong Ancient City Big Buddha Temple Prayer Tube Store) is a treasure hotel that will open in 2025. It is located at No. 140 Dala Corridor, Jinlong Neighborhood Committee, Jiantang Town, Shangri-La, in the core area of the ancient city of Dukezong, very close to the prayer tube of the Great Buddha Temple, just a few minutes' walk away, which can be described as occupying the "C position of the ancient city". The hotel as a whole is a neo-Tibetan style formed by French and Tibetan, which is perfectly integrated with the ancient city, and there are flowers and green plants in the courtyard, one step at a time. The room facilities are all available, the bedding is soft, and there are smart equipment, lighting, music can be controlled with one key, and some rooms have large viewing windows, so you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the ancient city while lying on the bed. All rooms are equipped with whole-house floor heating, oxygen concentrators, humidifiers, foot soaking buckets, etc., which is very intimate. The hotel service is also attentive, with friendly staff providing pick-up and drop-off services, luggage storage, etc. The restaurant is Tibetan-style, with wooden tables and chairs, colorful murals, and a full sense of atmosphere. The observation deck on the top floor has a great view, overlooking the entire ancient city and the prayer rover. In addition, there are also Tibetan cultural experience activities, such as thangka painting and Tibetan incense making, allowing guests to gain an in-depth understanding of the charm of Tibetan culture.

"We booked a second room and were equally pleased. It was spacious, well maintained, and tastefully appointed with every comfort. The attention to detail was evident, from the heated toilet seat to the soothing foot bath presented in a handcrafted wooden bucket. We also appreciated the complimentary minibar, locally inspired breakfast, and excellent coffee. Cleanliness was evident throughout, and staff donned shoe covers before entering, underscoring the hotel’s dedication to hygiene and guest comfort. Like our first room, it provided a serene retreat after a day of exploring Shangri-La and offered everything we could have wished for. The service remained consistently high throughout our visit. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to assist, creating a welcoming and personalized experience. The complimentary buggy service to town was convenient and made it easy to get around. Overall, our second room further affirmed the hotel’s high standards. Combined with its convenient location, complimentary buggy transfers, and gracious hospitality, it made our stay in Shangri-La truly memorable. We would gladly return and confidently recommend it to fellow travelers seeking a refined and comfortable stay."

"We had the best stay at MuKa Pastoral Manor during our Yunnan trip. The property has a true resort-like atmosphere, complemented by exceptional butler service. Upon check-in, we were added to a dedicated WeChat group with the hotel team. Since there is no telephone in the room, guests can simply send any request or question via WeChat, and the staff respond almost instantly. The hotel also uses the group chat to share daily reminders about breakfast hours, afternoon tea, the complimentary photoshoot, tea sessions, and the nightly bonfire activities. It made communication very convenient and personalized. One experience that really impressed us was when we had to leave before breakfast hours for an early sightseeing trip. We asked if they could prepare something simple for us, and they thoughtfully packed bread, boiled eggs, milk, and local snacks. It was an unexpected gesture that we truly appreciated. We stayed in a Level 2 duplex-style room with two separate bedrooms and bathrooms, making it perfect for a family or a group of four. The room was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with an oxygen supply system and a dehumidifier. The butler also took the initiative to explain how to use the oxygen system and shared useful advice on managing altitude sickness, especially after learning about our previous and upcoming destinations. The afternoon tea and nightly bonfire experience are held on Level 5, which also features a cozy mini library. While most of the books are in Chinese, guests are free to browse and enjoy the space. We particularly enjoyed the traditional yak butter tea experience around the bonfire in the evening. Although the property is located about 20 minutes by Didi from Shangri-La Ancient Town, transportation is very convenient and ride-hailing services are readily available. The hotel also provides complimentary transfers to and from Shangri-La Railway Station, which was a nice added benefit. What truly sets MuKa Pastoral Manor apart is its outstanding hospitality and beautiful natural surroundings. The farm, courtyard, and open spaces create a peaceful retreat close to nature. My favorite part was waking up each morning to breathtaking views of Shika Snow Mountain (石卡雪山) right outside the window. Overall, this was one of the most memorable stays of our trip. Between the attentive service, comfortable rooms, thoughtful amenities, and stunning scenery, I would highly recommend MuKa Pastoral Manor to anyone visiting Shangri-La. I speak highly of the place, but if there is one area for improvement, it would be the breakfast selection. Given the overall standard and level of service they provide, I would have expected a slightly higher-quality breakfast offering. It felt somewhat underwhelming, with very basic Western options (bread, egg, jam) and Asian offerings (Mi Xian), along with milk, coffee, and juice. The juice also did not seem freshly prepared, but rather packaged."

"I did a lot of research before booking in Shangri-La. Initially, I chose this place because it was close to the attractions, but after experiencing the stay, both my boyfriend and I were really pleased with our choice! The proprietress is very thoughtful. The room came with disposable toiletries, towels, and a personal care kit. They also provided oxygen and a humidifier, which made sleeping very comfortable, and we didn't experience any discomfort (like altitude sickness) when we woke up. When I was booking the hotel, I specifically mentioned to the owner that I wanted to buy a small cake. (Because I was new to the area and didn't know where to order one, I bothered the owner about it.) Although the proprietress couldn't reach me, she still ordered a cake for me! She called it a 'small cake,' but it was actually a 6-inch cake! Haha, I was so happy! In the end, the proprietress wouldn't even let me pay for it, insisting it was her treat. What a generous lady! ❤︎ I’m so grateful to you, proprietress, for making sure my birthday had the sense of occasion I wanted! Love you! (ノ∇︎〃 ) Although I only stayed at this guesthouse for two days, the proprietress's service included arranging transfers. (When you arrive, she picks you up, and when you're leaving, whether it's for the high-speed rail station or elsewhere, they can drop you off!) It was super convenient! Plus, the proprietress asked for our high-speed rail schedule and advised us on the best departure time to ensure better time management. I also had a great impression of the driver who picked us up. On this trip, I stayed at several different hotels and guesthouses. Some of the drivers were late, and some even smoked in the car, which was unpleasant for us non-smokers. But this driver who picked us up was excellent! There were no issues like that, and he even proactively helped us with our luggage and carried it up the stairs (thank you for your hard work!). And there's breakfast every day! They serve rice noodles, congee, corn, dumplings, and more. I thought the rice noodles were delicious, and the stir-fried vegetables really suited my taste! The guesthouse breakfast at the proprietress's place was so good! (づ ̄3 ̄)づ And on cold days, the hot milk was delicious. When it cooled down a bit, a milk skin would form on top! Another convenient point is that you can rent a scooter at the guesthouse (and no deposit is required!). It costs 60 RMB for a whole day (if I remember correctly), allowing you to ride from morning till night. It’s perfect for travelers like us who want to explore. Plus, it's only a 10-minute scooter ride to Dukezong Ancient City and the Giant Prayer Wheel at Dafo Temple! You can also walk there—I tried it, and it took about 18 minutes, hehe. It was my first time in Shangri-La, but from the moment I arrived at this guesthouse, my positive impression kept growing! A large part of it is due to the proprietress's warmth and attentiveness. My admiration for her is maxed out! (。・ω・。)ノ♡ When I returned, I recommended it to everyone (writing blogs and WeChat posts about my life), telling them that if they go to Shangri-La, they must book their accommodation here! Next time, if I get the chance to visit in colder weather and experience Shangri-La in winter, I will definitely book my stay with the proprietress again! (⑅˃◡˂⑅)"

"Facilities: Well-equipped with air conditioning and oxygen supply. Hygiene: Clean and tidy upon check-in. Environment: Located at a higher point within the ancient town, offering a panoramic view of the entire town. It's very quiet at night. Service: The front desk owner is lovely; she offered welcome fruits and a Hada (a traditional ceremonial scarf), and encouraged us to report any issues we might have."

"My friend chose Shanyue Yunju for their trip, and it exceeded all expectations – a solid five-star experience! The cleanliness was impeccable, with the entire place spotless. Our room was a elegant two-bedroom layout, and the starry sky window was absolutely stunning; you could lie in bed and gaze at the sky. The giant screen projection system had excellent quality, and all the facilities were complete and brand new. The guesthouse is ideally located near the Dukezong Great Buddha Temple, making it very convenient to explore the ancient town. The environment is tranquil and steeped in an oriental aesthetic. The owners were incredibly warm and attentive, responding to our requests super quickly with meticulous service. It offers outstanding value for money. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Shangri-La!"

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this homestay! From the moment we booked, the family who owns the place was incredibly kind, cheerful, and helpful. They communicated with us via WeChat to confirm our stay and asked us to update them when we were on our way, which made us feel very well-looked after. Despite our late check-in, the ”big sister” of the family was so thoughtful, she even helped us carry our heavy bags up to the second floor! She then took the time to show us how everything in the room worked. The room was spacious, comfortable, and perfectly equipped for the cold weather. The beds were cozy with comfortable mattresses, and the heater and humidifier were lifesavers! They also provided everything we needed like toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, hairdryer, and most importantly, unlimited bottled water. The location is fantastic! It’s very close to Dukezong Ancient City and just a 15-minute walk to the Giant Prayer Wheel/town center. As Muslims, we found it very convenient that there is a Halal restaurant and a convenience store just a few meters away. Note: It was freezing (0 degree) at night, but we stayed perfectly warm inside! It was also nice to see many fellow Malaysians staying in the area. We also have to mention their adorable little dog! He was so friendly and constantly wanted to play with us. Although we couldn't play back due to our religious restrictions, he was still so sweet, he even gave us a ”zoomie” farewell during our early morning checkout! Thank you so much for the great hospitality. We will definitely visit again! 💯💯"

"The B&B facilities are incredibly comprehensive! They have heating, oxygen supply, and even a humidifier! I was feeling a bit off when I first arrived, but as soon as I got to the room, I felt so much better! The breakfast was also very rich and came with little tea bags, which was a thoughtful touch! The cleanliness was also spot-on! The B&B industry has really improved in quality lately, completely changing my previous impression of it being unprofessional. In contrast, those established hotels that rely on brand recognition without bothering to upgrade their old facilities simply can't compare."
