"For our last night, we chose this hotel again, opting for a sea view king room. The main reason was the excellent service, which is a huge plus when traveling with children. **Facilities:** This particular room's facilities were a bit old-fashioned; the furniture clearly showed its age and had some damage. The bathroom was even more cramped than in other room types, and the sink was very low, almost like it was designed for children. However, the overall room space was very generous. I think this room's bathroom is definitely in need of a renovation. **Hygiene:** Hygiene is a hallmark of this hotel; their attention to detail is superb! The best thing about this room was the expansive sea view, which also included some mountain scenery. **Environment:** It's in a prime location with convenient transportation. **Service:** The service here always deserves direct praise. The doormen, front desk staff, and breakfast area staff are all fantastic. Their employees pay great attention to detail. For example, when I took my child downstairs to look for something, he wasn't wearing shoes. On our way back, seeing the carpet, I let him run, not paying much attention myself since it was a bit chilly and rainy in Qingdao that day. But Room Service Auntie #19 noticed immediately and quickly went to find children's slippers for him. It's truly a reassuring place to stay!"

"Huge thanks to Ginny and Manager Fanfan for their exceptional care – their service philosophy is truly outstanding! The hotel itself is lovely. We booked an executive deluxe sea-view king room, and we were particularly impressed with the room's design. The bathroom and bedroom are completely separated by a solid wall. Plus, there's a two-door design: the first door ensures that if an adult uses the restroom at night, it's not an issue. The second door means that if an adult is showering or using the tub late, the solid wall completely separates the two areas, so it doesn't disturb anyone else's rest at all."

There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, so grabbing a bite or shopping is a breeze, and getting a taxi is no hassle at all. The front desk staff were incredibly attentive; check-in and check-out were quick and efficient, and they were always polite and responsive to our needs. The room itself was spotless and tidy upon entry, with a simple yet cozy layout. There were no strange odors, and both the lighting and ventilation were excellent. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the pillows were just right. We had a wonderfully peaceful night's sleep, as the soundproofing was effective – we couldn't hear any noise from the hallway at all. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and all the toiletries were provided. The hot water came on quickly and had stable pressure, making for a pleasant shower experience. The common areas were tastefully decorated and very well-maintained, creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The value for money here far surpasses other hotels in the same price range. "Great service: understand that it's more difficult for the staffs to communicate in English, but they are all super helpful and didn't hesitate to offer help to a foreign tourist like us. Superb location: at the old town, 3-mins walk to the metro. Good room: the room is generally clean, but I found few lints floating in the air. It would be great to equip the room with a fridge and a safe also. Note that the room is not sound-insulated, I can hear (construction) noise from the upper floor. Toilet: should have an automatic bidet shower, or at least a handheld bidet."

"My stay exceeded expectations! It's fantastic value for money, located right in the city center, less than a 100-meter walk to the subway station, making it super convenient to get anywhere. The room was incredibly clean and airy, with no strange odors as some reviews mentioned. The bedding was very comfortable, and the bathroom had excellent wet/dry separation. The floor-to-ceiling windows provided great natural light and an expansive view. The room also came equipped with a fridge, washing machine, microwave, and induction hob, making it perfect for long stays and offering 100% convenience. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and check-in was efficient. The 6th floor connects directly to a shopping mall, which is very handy for dining. The elevators also have key card access, so there's no need to worry about security. The beach is just a few minutes' walk away, perfect for an evening stroll. Highly recommend, I'll definitely choose Qiyun again next time I'm in town. Extremely satisfied! 👍"

"I was on a solo vacation and chose the Hyatt for its beach access. I arrived in Qingdao and immediately started exploring, so by the time I checked in, it was already 8 PM. Front desk staffer Xiao Ning upgraded me to a sea-view room and even sent up some fruit, which instantly made all my travel fatigue disappear. I definitely have to give a big shout-out for that! Overall, even though the hotel is a bit older, the general experience, including the room, room service, and facilities, was excellent. The hotel breakfast was incredibly diverse and delicious. If you're coming to Qingdao and want to enjoy the beach, the Hyatt is basically a no-brainer choice!"

"First off, the service was excellent. I called ahead to mention we had an elderly person and requested an early room arrangement. When we arrived around noon, our room was already ready and even upgraded, which we really appreciated 🙏. As for the environment, although it's in Licang, it's quite convenient to get to the city center if you're driving. There's also a nice little park with greenery right outside, perfect for a post-meal stroll. Regarding the facilities, they are a bit dated as it's an older hotel, but it is a well-established five-star property, and the maintenance is still quite good. Staying here during the May Day holiday, the value for money was still excellent."

"The location is fantastic, very close to all the main attractions and within walking distance. Even places a bit further out are only a couple of kilometers away, making taxis, buses, and the subway all easily accessible. It shares a building with an adjacent office block, which is currently undergoing renovations. There was a strong paint smell and drilling noises from the construction which was quite disruptive. On the positive side, the smart home features in the room were great, perfect for anyone who loves convenience. The service attitude was also very good; we paid a little extra and were upgraded to a larger sea-view room."

"We received a complimentary upgrade to a terrace room. The room was quite clean; I saw the cleaning lady diligently cleaning upon check-in. The room was stylishly decorated and perfect for taking photos. However, the sink faucet was a bit loose and not very easy to use. Breakfast was decent, but there were quite a few bottles and jars in the room, and since the room wasn't very big, I was worried about them breaking. Some details felt a bit dated, and the courtyard could actually be improved. The service was excellent; the young man helped with our luggage and carried it to the car."
