"I couldn't be happier with this apartment! Its location is absolutely unbeatable; it's practically built right on top of a subway station. You can even walk directly to The MixC Mall through a sky garden. With Subway Lines 2 and 3 right downstairs, you get direct access to the subway without even stepping onto the street, making travel incredibly convenient for reaching all the tourist spots. The room itself was fully equipped. The shower pressure was fantastic and super effective – after a long day of sightseeing, coming back and enjoying a wonderfully refreshing hot shower was just what I needed! The concierge service was exceptional. They thoughtfully provided detailed routes to various attractions and excellent dining recommendations. Highly recommend!"

"Having experienced it, I now understand why this is the top-ranked luxury hotel; their genuine care for guests shines through in every detail. All amenities are individually sealed after disinfection, making it immediately obvious if they've been used – a thoughtful detail I truly appreciate. A big thank you to the front desk for noting my special request and assigning me a high-floor room, from which I could enjoy the light show. They also kindly granted a late check-out, which greatly eased my travel plans. All hotel staff were incredibly courteous and proactive in anticipating guests' needs. After reading numerous traveler reviews, I opted for the newly opened Qingdao Yihai Garden Hotel (May Fourth Square branch). The room was spacious, bright, and comfortable, and the cleanliness was also quite good. The facilities were comprehensive. Although there wasn't a direct sea view, the city lights at night were still dazzling. Breakfast was plentiful, offering local specialty snacks that tasted great. Even with many guests staying, everything remained quite orderly. A notable feature: The laundry room was a very popular spot, often with queues forming. The hotel site originally served as the Qingdao Workers' Sanatorium, which I personally believe contributes to its 'quiet oasis in a bustling city' feel. Downside: As some other guests have mentioned, the shower water temperature would occasionally fluctuate between hot and cold, and the water spray was too dispersed. I hope this can be improved."

For families traveling with kids, having laundry facilities available was incredibly convenient. The breakfast area was very clean and well-maintained; it would have been even better with a wider variety of options. The hotel's location is also very convenient for getting around, with easy access to Metro Lines 2 and 3, plus various bus routes. One minor issue was the low water pressure in the bathroom and slow drainage, which might be due to ongoing renovations."

Especially during this sweltering summer, I must commend myself for making such a wise choice – it's truly the most stress-free destination for families with kids, haha! You can happily just 'nest' in the hotel without ever feeling the need to step out. The pool and gym on the basement level (B1) are enough to keep the little ones entertained for half a day. The backyard is even more impressive; grab a bag of pigeon feed and you can enjoy a completely stress-free hour-long stroll after dinner. It perfectly combines escaping the heat with keeping the kids happy! If you're driving, this place is an absolute no-brainer – just book it! And a special mention for the buffet breakfast: the scallion oil noodles are an absolute must-try. The warm and attentive service struck just the right balance, creating a truly comfortable and pressure-free atmosphere. In the evening, a 15-minute drive took us to Binhai Road beach for some beachcombing, where we were lucky enough to spot a full moon. We left feeling utterly content, haha."

"Staying here for a night with a deluxe room at 20th.floor where there's a slight corner sea view. love it!. The only downside is the wooden floor is a bit dusty. food served for the celebrity buffet and morning breakfast are delicious and lots of varieties. "On my recent trip to Qingdao, I had the opportunity to stay at both The St. Regis and Diaoyutai, and here's my combined review: 1. **Rooms**: While the rooms at The St. Regis aren't overly spacious, their layout is more thoughtfully designed and comfortable compared to Diaoyutai. The view from the window, in particular, is simply breathtaking – offering beautiful sea views by day and stunning city lights by night. Cleanliness was also superior at The St. Regis. 2. **Location**: The St. Regis boasts a prime beachfront location, with major attractions like the Third Bathing Beach, Badaguan Scenic Area, and the Olympic Sailing Center all within walking distance, making its location superior. Diaoyutai is about a 10-minute walk from the sea, placing it in a slightly less central area. However, it offers more dining options in the vicinity. For local specialties, there's a convenient supermarket on the basement level of Jinding Plaza, right next to the hotel. 3. **Breakfast**: The breakfast at The St. Regis was more extensive and of higher quality. The candy and ice cream were a particular hit with children, and popular items like smoked salmon and blueberries were always promptly replenished. In contrast, at Diaoyutai, some breakfast items often ran out if you arrived later. 4. **Service**: The St. Regis provided superior service. Their staff exhibited a strong proactive service mindset and their responsiveness was excellent. While Diaoyutai staff were helpful in resolving issues, their initiative wasn't as strong. There's a price difference of several hundred [RMB, implicitly] between the two hotels. If you're not overly concerned with the price, The St. Regis offers a significantly better overall experience."
