"Our group of three guys went on a self-drive trip to Western Sichuan, and this guesthouse was hands down the biggest surprise and highlight of the entire journey. The overall experience even surpassed that of the Tianyuan Howard Johnson I'd stayed at before, offering incredible value for money.
We had only booked one room, but the owner was incredibly thoughtful and upgraded us to a larger, more spacious room free of charge. They also provide a dedicated butler service, with staff who are attentive, responsive, and quickly and properly handle any requests, making our stay exceptionally comfortable.
I absolutely have to rave about the hotel breakfast. The freshly cooked rice noodles were divine, with lamb that was stewed to perfection – tender and flavorful, not dry at all. The entire breakfast spread was thoughtfully curated, with a balanced mix of meat and vegetables, and a well-planned nutritional profile. Eating it each morning instantly banished the fatigue from our high-altitude drives.
The courtyard environment was immaculately maintained; the cleanliness was impeccable. There were also gentle, adorable cats in the yard that you could pet. Free coffee and ice were always available in the common areas, and relaxing in the courtyard during downtime created a wonderful ambiance.
What truly touched us was an unexpected incident during our trip: we had a tire blowout while driving. Stranded on an unfamiliar road, we were at a loss. Thankfully, the kind owner stepped in to help, proactively contacting a reliable repair shop, overseeing the entire tire replacement process for us, and even arranging for our car to be safely stored. Afterwards, they thoughtfully provided transportation to and from Jiuzhaigou. This heartwarming assistance, which went above and beyond the call of duty, made us feel incredibly secure on our journey in a foreign place.
Whether it was the facilities, the dining quality, the butler service, or the owner's outstanding hospitality, everything was faultless. This was the most memorable accommodation from our Western Sichuan trip, and I will definitely be highly recommending it to all my friends planning to travel the Western Sichuan loop. It will be our top choice again next time we visit!"

"The B&B is very clean, comparable to Atour hotels. It has smart home features, smart toilets, and comfortable bedding. They provide complimentary disposable bath towels and hand towels, and the toothbrushes are good quality. They also offer free pick-up and drop-off services, and it's not far from the entrance of Jiuzhaigou. Overall, it offers great value for money. Breakfast is simple but filling. The only downside is the lack of an elevator, which makes climbing the stairs a bit inconvenient."

"Walking into the hotel, it felt clean and grand! The front desk lady was super friendly during check-in, completely unlike the negative attitudes mentioned in some reviews. We were told we could get free breakfast by adding the concierge on WeChat. We initially wanted to try local breakfast, but the hotel breakfast turned out to be much more convenient, especially with elderly folks and kids. The seniors wake up early, and the kids sleep late, so when we asked our concierge, Haijun, for breakfast last minute the next day, it was already arranged! Many thanks for that!
The TV remote was a bit unresponsive, and the water pressure was a bit unstable, but the staff were quick to arrive and fix things immediately. The hotel is about 1.5 km from the scenic area entrance, and a ride-share costs about 4 yuan to get there, which is pretty convenient. Leaving at 8:30 AM, we avoided traffic and got into the scenic area smoothly."

"This hotel exceeded my expectations! It was my first solo trip to Jiuzhaigou, and among all the B&Bs, I chose this one and was very satisfied:
1. **Excellent Location**: It's situated at the entrance of the valley, about a ten-minute drive to the Jiuzhaigou scenic area entrance. The hotel also offers a free shuttle service to the entrance (return trip not included), which is very convenient. There are also many great ******* restaurants on the surrounding streets.
2. **Great Room Type**: Every room offers a stream-facing view. Listening to the sound of the flowing water is truly therapeutic, and the room's decor is also very comfortable.
3. **Delicious Breakfast**: Although the hotel breakfast isn't super lavish, it's very tasty. The hotel also provides complimentary fruit and homemade yogurt (the yogurt deserves a special mention, it's exceptionally good!).
4. **Self-Service Laundry**: The hotel has a self-service laundry room with dryers, which is very convenient. The machines also seem to have a built-in disinfection function, adding peace of mind.
5. **Amenities on the Third Floor**: The front desk, breakfast area, and hot spring are all on the third floor. After a tiring day exploring the Jiuzhaigou scenic area, coming back to the hotel and soaking our feet in the hot spring really melted away all the fatigue. The hotel also offers craft activities, which is a nice touch."

"Staying at the Mushan Hotel was perhaps a serendipitous experience.
The hotel is surrounded by mountains on all sides. Some are lush with vegetation, others are stark and rugged, while some have their peaks entwined with white clouds. The clouds are a rich white, constantly moving with the wind, making the mountains appear sometimes close, sometimes distant.
The hotel's red bean latte was excellent, and my child absolutely loved the pineapple sparkling water. The barista, who also made the sparkling water, was gentle and quiet, perfectly in tune with the surrounding mountains. He mentioned that at sunset, you can see a beautiful golden glow on the mountain peaks.
The hotel features an outdoor heated hot spring, available from evening until night. My child and I spent two consecutive nights soaking in it. From the edge of the pool, you can see the distant mountains, as well as the excavated mountain face next door. One can imagine what it looked like before – likely ”mountains beyond mountains.” When the wind picked up, a bit of dust and sprayed mist danced in the air. Through the rising steam from the pool, the clamor of modern civilization and the tranquility of retreating into the mountains intertwined and played out.
The hotel also offered a ******* prayer bead bracelet DIY workshop. With the help of the staff, my child and I successfully completed our bracelets. The ******* beads emitted a fragrant aroma, as if overflowing with many wonderful blessings.
My favorite item in the room was the kettle. It had clear markings indicating the different temperatures for brewing various teas. I wished life could be as clear, knowing exactly what to do at each stage. After returning from our trip to Jiuzhaigou, I tried brewing the white tea provided by the hotel, and it felt like the perfect end to our journey."

"Facilities: The hotel facilities are relatively new, and the decor style looks very clean, making for a comfortable stay. The projector works great, perfect for watching a movie after a day of sightseeing.
Hygiene: It's clean and tidy. The cleaning staff are quite thorough and replace disposables daily.
Environment: It's not far from the Jiuzhaigou scenic area, and ordering takeout nearby is quite convenient. But I have to call out the breakfast place next to the hotel – it's a bit pricey, the taste is mediocre, and I'm not sure if it's the breakfast, but I've had an upset stomach every day after eating there these past two days. 😤
Service: The hotel staff are very helpful. They arrange shuttle services to and from the scenic area and are always ready to answer questions. Their attitude is great, and they do their best to help with any requests.
Jiuzhaigou is beautiful, and Huanglong is also good (attaching two photos). It was a very pleasant trip."

"This hotel is perfectly located in Zao Yan Plaza. It's just a short walk from where the long-distance bus drops you off, and only about a 10-minute stroll to the scenic area's main entrance. The suite perfectly met our needs – it was spacious and clean. The hallway had a unique charm, and all the amenities were well-stocked. Downstairs, the breakfast was excellent too. The front desk staff were polite and enthusiastic, and they even contacted us in advance to confirm our details."

It's incredibly convenient, only a few minutes' walk along the riverside path to the Jiuzhaigou ticket entrance.
The hotel is very new with comprehensive facilities, and the staff are young, enthusiastic, and attentive. Service requests are promptly handled.
Breakfast can be packed to go, and there's complimentary porridge for a late-night snack, which is a thoughtful and comforting touch. The lobby's book bar also offers a great ambiance and excellent service."

1. The hotel called the day before check-in to ask for details, advised us to travel safely, and expressed their anticipation for our arrival.
2. They were truly pet-friendly and very kind to our furry friends.
3. For this price point, we received welcome fruit and even a 'goodnight' milk and snack.
4. They made an exception and took my parents to the scenic spot entrance early in the morning.
5. The breakfast selection was rich and varied for this price range.
6. Because we wanted to switch to a king-size bed room, they upgraded us for free and tried their best to accommodate all our requests.
7. Every staff member was very kind; they would greet us and chat whenever we came and went, which felt very welcoming.
8. There were plenty of parking spaces, and they were very close to the hotel entrance.

1. Outdoor rooftop hot spring: Enjoying a private hot spring at 9 PM, 2000 meters above sea level – just thinking about it is romantic!
2. Fully smart room: Very convenient. The smart speaker controls the curtains and lights, and there's a smart toilet. The room is very new.
3. The front desk lady was very helpful; I left some wet clothes behind, and she even helped me dry them.
Small suggestions: A guesthouse with a dryer would be a plus! If the room could provide 1-2 laundry bags, it would be more convenient as carrying small items downstairs can be a bit awkward. The front desk lady did find me a plastic bag, though.
Overall, highly recommended! The pillows and mattress were also very comfortable to sleep on. 😘"
