"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful Stay in Chaozhou We had a fantastic stay at Crowne Plaza Chaozhou Riverside and honestly wished we could have stayed longer. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely eager to help. Check-in was smooth, questions were answered quickly, and throughout our stay the service remained warm and attentive without ever feeling forced. It’s the kind of hospitality that makes a hotel memorable. Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and spotlessly clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and after long days exploring Chaozhou, it was the perfect place to relax and recharge. We also appreciated the thoughtful details throughout the room, including complimentary soft drinks in the minibar, bottled water, bathrobes, quality tea and coffee facilities, and plenty of storage space. The river view was another highlight. Waking up and looking out over the Han River and the city skyline was a wonderful way to start the day. The room felt peaceful, quiet, and very comfortable. Cleanliness throughout the hotel was excellent. Everything felt well maintained and cared for, from the guest room to the common areas. What impressed us most was how the staff consistently went above and beyond to make sure guests were comfortable. Great facilities are important, but outstanding service is what truly sets a hotel apart, and this team delivered exactly that. If you’re visiting Chaozhou and looking for a comfortable hotel with excellent service, beautiful river views, and a relaxing atmosphere, I would highly recommend Crowne Plaza Chaozhou Riverside. A wonderful stay and easily one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had in Guangdong."

"When I visited Chaozhou, I chose this hotel as my accommodation. It's located right by West Lake and is very close to the ancient city district, making it incredibly pleasant for a leisurely stroll. The room was clean and had an antique design, yet it was equipped with modern amenities. The hotel staff were friendly and always patiently answered any questions I had. The surrounding area has a strong local vibe, allowing you to truly experience the authentic local culture. This hotel is definitely an excellent choice within the ancient city, and its service is simply impeccable."

"The service was absolutely amazing [strong emoji]! It was Children's Day, and they had special activities like making sachets and a pool party with afternoon tea on the rooftop. It was a fantastic experience, and the sachets were beautiful. The room was super comfortable, spacious, and had a great view. The AC worked really well too. They also provided complimentary welcome fruits, and the gym equipment was quite comprehensive and effective. The highlight for me was the laundry room! It had both washing and drying facilities, which is a lifesaver when traveling in the hot summer. No more worrying about bringing a pile of dirty clothes home! I highly recommend this place and will definitely suggest it to friends visiting Chaozhou."

"Hygiene: The room was very clean. Ambiance: The decor was lovely and cozy. There was some street noise from cars at night, but they thoughtfully provided two pairs of earplugs. We're good sleepers so we didn't need them, but it's great for those who aren't – the host really thought of everything. Facilities: The facilities were comprehensive, with both a bathtub and a shower. In addition to earplugs, they also provided sanitary pads, hair clips, hair ties, disposable toilet seat covers, and bathtub liners, so no need to worry about hygiene. These small details really show how much the host cares. Service: The front desk service was excellent. If we had any questions, we just messaged them on WeChat, and they provided very detailed answers. When we arrived, they helped with our luggage and gave us a guide to local food and attractions. We wanted authentic Chaoshan beef hotpot, and they recommended Pan Ji Beef, which was indeed very authentic. On our first day, it rained heavily, and they even messaged us proactively to be careful. Location: It's a five or six-minute walk to Han Wen Gong Temple, and Guangji Bridge is directly opposite the temple. We specifically chose a place close to Guangji Bridge to easily watch the light show at night. During the day, you can walk from Guangji Bridge into the ancient city. It's better value than staying inside the ancient city. When we checked out, the host even gave us a small gift box of Chaozhou San Bao. Overall, we were very satisfied; it was a pleasant two days."

"The entrance is tiny, almost unnoticeable. Luckily, the location is great; it's about a ten-minute walk to Paifang Street, and other attractions are also nearby. The room was alright, nothing special. They charge extra for an additional duvet, and disposable towels are provided."

Further inside, there's a huge lawn courtyard, and when the lights come on at night, the ambiance is absolutely magical. Strolling along the winding paths, admiring the illuminated gardens and trees, it felt like I was staying in a private estate. From check-in to check-out, the staff were exceptionally warm and attentive. They proactively helped us with our luggage and thoughtfully recommended fun places to visit nearby, making us feel right at home."

"Taking my child for a relaxing weekend getaway, choosing Sanchao Hot Spring Hotel was definitely the right decision – the overall experience was incredibly satisfying! First off, the hot spring is genuinely authentic, with clean and clear water, not just tap water mixed in. After soaking, my whole body felt soothed and relaxed, and it was wonderfully nourishing for my skin. There’s also a dedicated children's hot spring play area, where my little one had an absolute blast and didn't want to leave. The family room we booked was excellent – spacious, clean, odor-free, and decorated in a fun yet cozy way. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the children's amenities were well-stocked, making our stay with the little one very easy and comfortable. I absolutely have to commend their incredibly thoughtful service! Let me share a small detail: it was quite busy on the weekend, and my child accidentally bumped into something while running around. The staff immediately came over to check on us and comfort my child, promptly bringing antiseptic wipes and warm water. Their attitude was gentle and attentive, and the whole interaction felt incredibly heartwarming. The service truly is top-notch. The hotel's location is also very convenient and easy to find. We drove directly there, and there was plenty of parking. Getting around or catching a taxi is also very easy, with no detours needed for nearby attractions. This place is perfect for a family weekend trip – authentic hot springs, comfortable rooms, and warm, attentive service, all at a great value for money. We'll definitely be back for our next vacation!"

"Came to Chaozhou and picked this hotel after reading many reviews. It's a new hotel, opened in 2025, so all the facilities are brand new. The hotel is located on Chengxin Road, just a 10-minute walk to Paifang Street, making it super convenient to visit ancient city attractions like Guangji Bridge and Kaiyuan Temple. It's also easy to walk back to the hotel after exploring the old city at night. If you're driving, there's no need to worry at all, as the hotel offers a large, free parking lot, which is especially great for families with kids and road trippers. It's only about 16.8 km by car to Chaoshan Station, so transportation is very convenient. The room is spacious. It would be even better if check-out could be extended a bit later."
