"The room was incredibly spacious; for the same price in Japan, you'd probably get a room only one-sixth the size. However, the facilities are a bit old. There's a swimming pool, and both sauna and steam rooms are available. Be very careful in the bathroom as it's extremely slippery. It's located right next to Bahrain's largest mosque, which is pretty standard. If you head about 500 meters left out of the hotel, you'll find an entire street of various restaurants. This place is just too hot, and honestly, there's not much else to do."

"We stayed there as family of three. The hotel is in the right place, the Centre of everything. The view from the top floor window opens up to both the gulf and Manama city. If you love Sauna, steaming room and Jacuzzi they have it but not for kids under 16 years old. And the last one and very important thing, the room was provided without bathrobes, only one towel, and not any toiletries. What a shame. It's not up to the standards you'd expect from a 5-star hotel. Work on it please."

"The hotel is located in a new place, the downside of which is the relative distance from the old city. The quality of the mattress and bed is excellent, a real pleasure. Of the downsides I would name the recreation area and the pool, it is not secluded enough (basking in the sun, you will be the object of attention of everyone who goes down in the elevator). Otherwise, I liked everything very much."

"The hotel is very beautiful and the facilities are very new. The hotel is seamlessly connected to a large shopping mall, which is very convenient for eating, shopping and shopping. From the hotel, you can walk to Bahrain Gate in 30 minutes."

"The hotel is relatively old, with complete basic facilities and breakfast. There is Carrefour across the two streets, and there are no convenience stores or supermarkets near the hotel. Ramada has several Ramadas in Bahrain and I personally think the other one will be better."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Intercontinental Bahrain. The location was perfect for us with the Manama Souk and Bahrain Harbour area nearby. There were many good restaurants on site and nearby. It was also close to lots of cafes and shops. In the near future there will also be a metro station nearby. Check in at the hotel was smooth. We were even able to add on a breakfast for our last day and make adjustments to our reservation request in person. We rented a car and the valet service was very good during our stay. We booked a king bed room and it was nicely appointed. They had a couple of nice chairs, large TV, coffee/tea station, mini fridge with bar and a table side console that controlled the lights and temperature throughout the room. The TV had screen mirroring and Bluetooth features that were easy to connect to. Our room had a large fruit platter which had perfectly ripe fruit and we were delivered 3 small chocolate platters during our stay because of Eid celebrations. The pillows were a little soft for us but they have a pillow menu that we utilized. Our room was very quiet for most of our stay but our neighbours above and beside were unexpectedly loud the last night and we had to call for assistance a couple times. The bathroom had very nice products including lotion, body wash, conditioner and shampoo. The shower was nice too but when using the rain head we found the water leaked out very easily and made the floor wet. There was a speaker in the bathroom but we could not figure out how to connect to it. The pool area was awesome and relaxing on the rooftop of the Regency tower. The hotel had two pools but the one on the mezzanine level by the restaurants was closed during our stay due to Ramadan celebrations that had just finished. The pool had lots of different day bed options, large towels and some very good cocktails including one of the best Pina coladas I've had in the middle east. The wifi was good throughout the hotel but it was a bit spotty in the corners at the pool. The change room had lots of lockers and large shower stalls that had the same nice products from the hotel bathrooms. They have a large health club/gym in this area too and a racquetball court. Manama is a foodie paradise and there are many top notch restaurants around so we opted to eat offsite for most of the days. We did try the breakfast on our last day and we paid 12.5 BHD per person. There is a good spread including pastries, cheese, eggs to order (including a very good shakshuka), western breakfast items, three kinds of bacon (including pork), pork sausage to order and a good honey selection. The best part of breakfast was the fresh juice. They offered us late check out which we appreciated and it was easy to check out at the counter but the valet service was very busy just after 1 pm and the traffic made it difficult to get out and to the airport in the rental. We spent maybe an extra 10 minutes to get out but every other day we had zero issues using the valet and roads nearby. The stay at the Intercontinental was very relaxing and we felt refreshed for each day exploring Bahrain. We would recommend this hotel to friends and family visiting Bahrain."
