"This place is awful. It's a 1 star hotel. It's filthy and poorly maintained. The food is awful, it's a restricted menu so you end up eating the same food. Breakfast is a joke... Scrambled eggs.. and whatever was left over from the night before reheated. The pools are dirty. The beach is small and not looked after. My advice to anyone is avoid this place"

"The service is very slow! After I check in my luggage still left in the driveway 1.5 hours later! The shower don’t work and it takes four hours before someone come to repair it. They don’t clean their room until 4 pm ! And the New Year’s Eve party was disorganised staff were not attentive. The location is isolated. The hotel did not offer any shuttle. There is a lot of steps to navigate if you want to visit the beach; the food in the restaurant are expensive, but the quality is not too good."

"We chose to stay at the Blue Haven in Tobago on the recommendation of friends who had raved about the place and the service. We wanted to spend a week in complete relaxation, breathing fresh air far from smog and noise. At first, the journey seemed long for just one week, but there’s a direct flight from Frankfurt, and it’s only a 20-minute drive from the airport to the hotel. The hotel offers a convenient transfer service. The moment you arrive, you can breathe the fresh air, and the only sound you hear is the waves of the Caribbean Sea. The hotel is located directly by the sea, surrounded by lush palm trees and untouched nature. The sea-view terrace is stunning, and having breakfast there while watching toucans is pure paradise. The room service is caring and attentive, the menu caters to every desire, and the fish, caught fresh daily, is prepared excellently, as is the rest of the food. Food that nourishes the soul and delights the palate. A short flight of stairs from the terrace leads to a beautiful small beach equipped with towels and lounge chairs. For anyone looking to relieve stress and physical or mental fatigue, I highly recommend this hotel. Even in just one week, you can fully recharge and be ready to face everyday life again. It's no coincidence that the hotel is called Blue Haven."
