We loved this hotel. We will be coming back! An authentic Italian experience. Everyone who works there is of the most pleasant and welcoming demeanor. If you desire to experience the Italian culture unaltered, this is definitely your choice.

Very beautiful property next to the sea. We were pleasantly surprised by the beauty as we we’re staying in Scalea only one night on our way to Calabria- a gem for sure. The hotel manager and staff were very kind and helpful. Beautiful beach and access to it is easy. We want to visit again for a longer time. Breakfast was great as well. They had a very nice Buffay with a lot of different options to choose from.

The room was outdated and smelled a bit moldy and felt damp.
The bathroom had been updated, which was nice.
The staff was kind and the breakfast good.
Beach access was a plus!

The view was awesome, the staff was friendly and accommodating, it had a pool and jacuzzi that was very well kept, and the beach and dining was within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this hotel in Scalea.

A short and wonderful stay with a great friendly staff. Beach was excellent with wonderful service. Walking around the area was pleasantly exciting and beautiful. Area restaurants were great and all shopping was fun

We booked into the grand Hotel De Rose after an emergency at our home and we loved it. The location and views were stunning and the staff was amazing! While we were there, we feuds 3 other couples staying who came because of our Super Savvy Travelers Youtube channel. One was right next door! that was so fun!
