The views from our bungalow were absolutely incredible!!! The room is stunning. The staff was soo nice. They gave you a complimentary drink upon arrival, as well as, a complimentary handmade continental breakfast. You eat near the common area pool and the view is one of the prettiest we saw in Sayulita. The downside.. the waves are sooo loud haha. You are literally right above them which is cool but its like the ultimate sound machine. I would definitely stay again but only for 1-2 nights bc it kept waking up my boyfriend. Lastly, if you have tonsss of luggage -- get ready to hike up a ramp to your room. We were fine with light carry ons but just FYI.

We loved staying here and plan on going back. It is a solid walk from the town over rough roads so not for everyone, but we really appreciated having a quiet place (away from town) with amazing views. The rooms, staff, and service were all fantastic.

Hot at night in room, lots of ants and mosquitos (December) . Super friendly/ helpful staff. Chef was cool. Food ok/good. Town of Sayulita is a trash can .. best to stay and enjoy the view or venture to remote beaches. Bring a car

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Boutique Siete Lunas last week and had an absolutely wonderful time. In fact, we enjoyed our time in Sayulita so much, we booked an extra night onto our stay before moving on to visit family in Puerto Vallarta. I will start with the GREAT: We booked the master suite and the room/view were worth every penny. The bed was super comfortable, the views over Sayulita and the bay were incomparable, the in-room Air conditioning was quick to cool the unit, and we slept fabulously. We could hear some music from the town across the water at night, but it wasn't loud enough to drown out the sound of the ocean. We slept like babies and woke up to the most stunning sunrises across the Bay. Based on the room alone we would stay again. If you're looking for romance and a bit of wow-factor, this room has it! Now the GOOD: The complimentary continental breakfast was simple, but nicely prepared and delicious. I really enjoyed the Green Juice. The pool and shared areas are compact but well appointed and offer exceptional views. The staff are friendly and attentive. The bar tender/chef makes a nice Spicy Margarita :) Now the COULD IMPROVE: Communication before arriving at the hotel was a bit convoluted. We booked via *********** and received some fraudulent messages via the app, which in all fairness, were promptly caught by management. That said, the experience put us on a bit of a high alert re: online security, so when management switched communication from the *********** app to Whatsapp aprox 12hrs before arrival, we were a bit thrown. Pricing and quotation. Management would consistently quote pricing for add-on services in USD, but then charge in Pesos. Given that they are not offering a competitive conversion, this caused a few tense moments after receiving quotes for add-on services in USD and then being charged a higher price in Pesos at the time of billing. I suggest requesting all pricing in PESOS. Beachfront vs Oceanview--- This hotel is not beach front, but does offer exceptional ocean and city views. The public beach is a 10-15 walk from the hotel, which we were completely fine with but those with mobility restrictions would struggle. We were clear from the website that the hotel is not beach access, but I can see how other reviewers felt mislead by the tagline "Exclusive Beachfront Hideaway"... "Exclusive Oceanview Hideaway" or "Exclusive Oceanview Jungalows" would be more precise in my mind. That said, the good far outweighed the bad! We would absolutely recommend Hotel Boutique Siete Lunas to those who enjoy vibrant locales full of nightlife, appreciate stunning panoramic views in an intimate setting, and don't mind staying a bit off the beaten path.

Animals in the apartments: - I attached a photo of cockroaches running on our clothes. - I additionally attached a photo where we were bitten by bedbugs at night, because of this we went to the hospital when we returned to Canada. - there are bloody stains on the curtains above the bed from crushed cockroaches. Mold: - in the photo in Booking everything is beautiful (for Instaphoto), but the persistent smell of mold is still on our things. Mattress: - on the 1st side, where the carved view is, it is so arched that you feel like you are sleeping in a hammock. Cleaning: - in 5 days the bed linen was not changed or the floors were washed. - dead cockroaches were lying everywhere and were not removed (I attached a photo) Beach: - There are 2 beaches. It’s 7 minutes to the tiny one, and where they surf, it’s 25 minutes to it along a broken road one way. - On public beaches, where there are 2 tourists and 100 Mexicans. - We saw a fight between drunken Mexicans. It was terrible. - There is a river at the surfing beach where people throw garbage and workers flush the toilet (WC on the beach). As a result, the water in the ocean is dirty and smells like a toilet. Attached a photo Safety: - next to the hotel in a neighboring hotel there live 2 dogs that constantly attack you in the evening (when it gets dark, you can’t see them, they attack because they bite). It turned out that we were not the only ones who attacked these dogs. I am attaching the correspondence on WhatsApp. Bottom line: read reviews on Google. They are real. The hotel may have been good, but now everything has changed. I write without emotion. Just look at the photo and ask yourself, do you want this?

The views from the property are stunning and the bedrooms are beautiful however, we had many issues. The hotel is in the jungle with access from a very bumpy road and then a very steep climb that was not adequately described in the listing. The bedroom is well air-conditioned but the separate bathroom and closet have no AC and were extremely hot no matter the time of day. The property also lists itself as "Hotel and Spa" and "beachfront" which are not correct. There is no spa and the beach is a good walk or a drive away. We were told that we could call and get a golf cart to get up the hill but when we did that with 20 minutes notice, we received no reply. For $255/night we expected a very different experience.

Misleading website! Not a beachfront spa hotel! No onsite spa. Nice VIEW of beach & nearby bay. That’s all. Located on jungle hillside. Very steep walking path to get to rooms. No elevator. Tiny “pool.” Need car. Unpaved narrow rugged road to hotel treacherous. Refused to refund early departure. Booked 6 days; left after 4. We tried to make it work. Hot, very humid (September). Beach water dirty & too warm; not refreshing. Local vendors constantly hawking their products. Major disappointment!

The check-in was horrific. We arrived to the property and discovered a very steep trail to get to the top. There is no front desk. A young lady who did not speak much English greeted us. We were sweating through our shirts however, they seemed to take their time in welcoming us before providing a key to our room so we could dry off and be in an air-conditioned area. It was very bizarre.

We had a fantastic romantic getaway to Siete Lunas! The location is stunning and our room was very comfortable. The hotel is very convenient to town if you don’t mind walking a bit (or rent a golf cart). The staff is amazing and helped make it a beautiful stay.
