Perfect spot to rest your head after spending the day in the historic district- it’s quiet, clean and beautiful. A quick walk to the riverfront and a fantastic view of the ships coming through on the river.

The scenery is beautiful, the room is large, and the people are outstanding. It's worth staying here, the people are warm and helpful. I don’t know when the $50 deposit will be returned to me. This is my second stay. I will stay here a few more times when I have time.

We had a river view room which had a great view of the river. The room wasn’t bad but was definitely in need of some repairs. One of the light fixtures on the wall were loose. The room definitely was read for paint touchups too. The scariest part of all was the door to the balcony. We had a toddler and the door to the balcony had a broken latch. It had been pretty clearly been dismantled at some point. It had a secondary bar that held the door closed but that bar was loose and bent and the safety pin for the bar was missing. As is typical with most hotels, breakfast was extremely overpriced also. $40 for self parking after paying $300 for a room seemed a bit excessive too. I won’t say I wouldn’t go back but I’d definitely try a different hotel next time.

$40 parking fee is ridiculous. Hotel is nice, good area. Went to front desk for pillows, they said they’d bring them to us. Had to call front desk 4 more times over the next 1 hr 45 min to get 2 extra pillows brought to the room, plan ahead!

The 1st room we were in had plumbing issues. We requested help with that around 5:30pm. We left for the evening and returned to room around 12am. Well nothing had been done with the plumbing in the bathroom. My husband went to the front desk and he was told their was no maintenance person there. So we switched rooms at 12:30am. The next room they put us in, the heat wasn't working. The temperature in the room stayed at 63 degrees all night on the coldest night of the year. The outside temp was 19 degrees. When we talked to front desk the next morning, they just brushed it off like oh well.

40$ parking on top 40 additional $ for tax and fees after booking.no slippers or toothpaste in bathroom .charge for internet unless you signed up for rewards. Room did not have view of river and breakfast was 27 $ per person but website said 15 to 22 $ .i will never ever stay in this hotel.

I am an avid hotel user. On a scale 1 to 10 I'll give this location a 7.
The restaurant fare is nice both for dinner and breakfast.
Our 3 nite stay and room was decent. The river view from our top floor corner room was ok. Walking more of a city block to it was challenging but doable. The staff was very accommodating when needing anything. My barometer for hotel stays is as follows. When I go to my grandmother's house first the hugs and kisses then I am ass if I am hungry and there's nothing like Grandma making you feel you're at home away from home. Unfortunately and I realize the price points because of location, this will not be a grandma moment.

Definitely splurge on the river-front views. So fun to watch the big cargo ships pass by. Room was spacious, balcony was great. Food was medicore, but the bar was fun and open late. Perfect location to hop on a trolly or walk around the waterfront.
