The Imperial Dragon Hotel

Very friendly, efficient hotel staff. Stylish Asian decor with spacious rooms. The adjoining restaurant, ‘Lookys’ is where we enjoyed the best meal of the trip. The car parking is free with plenty of space. I would be happy to have a return visit.

This hotel was lovely, decorated to a high standard the room we stayed in was very nice, staff were so nice and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was delicious the best ive had x lokkys restaurant which is at the hotel was lovely we enjoyed the food and cocktails x

Just home from a wonderful weekend staying at the Imperial dragon could not fault a thing, from the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Sue and Ang on reception are lovely, very helpful and informative. We ate at Lokkys restaurant at night which was superb, the food is amazing as is all the bar and waiting staff. RJ our waiter is very professional and friendly advising us on food and drinks. Breakfast just as good good choice and delicious. We will definitely be returning.

Stayed for 2 nights in a family room due to attending a wedding. Have to say, service from start to finish was excellent! Front desk were lovely, breakfast service was also fantastic. Quality of food at breakfast was great on both mornings. Staff couldn’t do enough for all customers. Room was comfortable and bed was comfy. Would certainly recommend.

Truly excellent hotel and location. Room was an upgrade, lovely, comfortable beds and in excellent condition. Decor lovely and interesting. Breakfast food choices, quality quantity and service all excellent. Unusually for us, we dined at attached Loki restaurant both nights as food quality, service and ambience were so good. (Small note food heat ratings were "typical/ conservative British".. so we had to ask for additional spice.) Overall the best hotel experience I've had in years, (easily beating 4 star big chain hotels).

Fantastic stay at the imperial Dragon. The most friendliest and helpful staff, everything was spotlessly clean, really comfortable bed and the yummiest of breakfast. We had dinner in Lokki ‘s which was really delicious. We couldn’t have faulted a single things - well done imperial dragon. We will be back.

Booked through Secret Escapes for 3 nights over my Birthday. Stayed in a deluxe room which was nicely decorated and the Welsh cakes were a nice touch. The bed was ok, but pillows too soft & the room would have benefited from more comfortable furniture, as it was a large room. The breakfast was very good, tried the traditional & also the pancakes which were delicious. Ample parking at hotel & the cocktails from the bar extremely good. We dined at Loki’s restaurant on my Birthday and both had sushi which was nice. I ordered the Thai green curry for main (which I order & enjoy in any Thai restaurant), but did not like this version. The sauce was way too salty & too much lemongrass and I could not eat it. Three different staff asked if my meal was ok and when I said no & explained why, all they said was sorry. No resolution & charged £80 for a below average meal with a 10% service charge on top! Would not dine here again, overpriced & very over rated… The hotel is not near anything so you have to travel to get/do anything. Overall the hotel lacked atmosphere even though tastefully decorated and after the restaurant experience, we will not return again.

Really comfortable and stylish hotel, with fantastically welcoming staff. Interesting decor throughout and lokky's restaurant serves some brilliant dishes. Good choice off freshly cooked breakfasts. Would definitely stay again. 👌

This is a fabulous hotel with all the right combinations. Sue and her team made us more then welcome. Food was amazing with such a device menu from around the far east. Bed room was extremely clean and with all Tecnologies that you would need and very comfortable. Room service was twenty four hour of which we did not use. The hotel is very Palacious and decorated in eastern style, very beautiful. Because of its reputation we travelled over four hundred and fifty mile around trip to enjoy this marvelous week-end.
