The Sarasota Modern, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Staff were really friendly from front desk to bartenders to valet. Food was excellent and pool was nice with a fun vibe. Parts of hotel are dated and parts are newly renovated. It’s in a great location. I would return.

Upon arrival, the front desk attendant was nowhere to be found. We waited 15 minutes nobody assisted we had to find a bartender to find the attendant to get us checked in. The front desk never called to let us know when our room is gonna be ready so we didn’t access our room until late. We love the hotel but Customer Service is lacking.

We stayed one night for a NY Eve dinner and thankfully it was only one night. The staff is super friendly; the facility was decorated for the holidays and is in a good location, that makes walking an option. The one issue we had was that there was no hot water in the shower and apparently had been going on for a couple of days. We should have been made aware of the problem and maybe given us free parking.

The property has promise however, I was disappointed the restaurant was not available for dinner because of a private event. The sleeping area was so small that my husband had to squeeze between the bed and TV to get out. The tv was so close to the bed you couldn't even watch it. In addition, all of the wires was hanging from behind the tv and you could not open the fridge with out opening the opposite cabinet door. But the tea was great.

Breakfast was amazing and so was staff! I was indifferent about the room. Nothing special or decorated out of the ordinary, felt unfinished. Balcony overlooked a roof

Dinner and drinks were great. Comfortable rooms. Will stay again.

We enjoyed our stay very much, the property was lovely and the surrounding area was pleasant. The staff was friendly and allowed for early check in which was greatly appreciated.

Very clean, modern sleek rooms. The pool bar and are were so fun on the Sunday funday festivities.

Excellent service, cleanliness, and rooms. Well worth the cost.
