Sapphire Beach Holiday Park

We are new to this and looking forward to updating as we go. We have just started out on our big lap with the 5 of us. 2A3K. Sapphire beach holiday park was our first destination from Sydney. (Around 6 hrs north). We booked for 2 nights - but stayed another 2! They were more than accommodating. The receptionist rearranged accommodation for us so we could stay longer. On arrival, the reception we received was really welcoming.. The park itself is just a little hidden paradise about 2 minutes of the highway. And It’s literally right on the beach. Price was fair we think. The kids had pool time/ mini golf - games ect and although these thing cost a bit more , it helped us have some time out and I’m sure as we head north the price will triple! It seems to be a family run business. It has a very family pride feel. We met the lovely night staff, and felt safe in this park at nighttime. (Donna and Steve were on night staff). Each morning we would use the Amenities and public area to cook ect, they had 2 amazing girls cleaning each day. One in particular was the highlight of my kids mornings! I didn’t catch her name unfortunately - She was so very busy getting the outside area tidy and amenities clean for everyone on these mornings - but she took the time out time out for our family. It was so lovely. We can only hope that we can have as wonderfull experiences as we did in this park as we continue . 10/10 .

The caravan park is located in a beautiful spot just a two minute walk to one of the most beautiful beaches I have seen on my travels along the coast. When I called to finalise my booking the gentleman I spoke to was nice and put me in a spot close to the toilet block which is appreciated being a solo female traveller. The park wasn’t to bad, they had a games room, basketball court, the pool looked really nice and there was a mini golf which I believe you have to pay for which I think is a bit rich when your paying to stay at the park. I arrived late at night after a six hour drive. I managed to find my site no problem. Then I went to the bathroom and needed a code to get in. You get a A5 sheet with codes and wifi details and a rules page on the back of the map. I read the rules but didn’t notice in the top corner the code for the toilets as I was to busy reading the rules. Being so late at night because I didn’t see the code or expect it to be on the rules page I couldn’t get into the toilet block at all. I couldn’t have a shower and I couldn’t use the toilet. I woke up in the middle of the night and had to go to the toilet on the grass, extremely uncomfortable and embarrassing. The number I called on the A5 slip advises to call anytime so I did and no answer. I had to leave a message and I advised of my disappointment. Can I make a suggestion that you put the toilets code on the A5 slip with all the other codes and wifi password, that would make more sense and be more visible for guests to see. I advised Reception in the morning and there was two gentleman there. One of them looked at me like I was an ***** pointing out to me where it was. I then advised that when I went to the bathroom in the morning I managed to get in because the cleaning lady was there. That’s my next disappointment. The cleaner was playing 9-5 by Dolly Parton full blast in the toilet and after just waking up it completely rattled me plus I’m on holidays and I’m not working 9-5! She was running around like she was on something and it was overbearing first thing in the morning. I advised reception just to make them aware and maybe say something to her. I got an extremely arrogant response from one of the guys that “I should have told her to turn it down”. No as a paying guest I should not have to do that, I’m not her boss and it is your job to tell your cleaner to tone it down for the comfortability of your guests. The response made me very upset as I don’t like conflict. The other guy did say he will talk to her. That’s all that should have been said in the first place. The way the first guy spoke to me was a shock and I am basing my 3 stars on his terrible customer service.

This caravan park is amazing, pool, amenities, are absolutely great, just a short walk to the beach. We will be back for sure. The caravan site was very good. Playground for children as well. Shops are not to far away at Moonee beach, everything you need.

What a gem of a park. Staff were very friendly and could not have been more helpful when checking in. The park is lovely with grassy sites, some with concrete pads or mats. Camp kitchen is well equipped and in a handy position. The amenities are modern and very clean. There is tons of stuff for kids to do, but we just stayed by the pools. The pools would rival any we have seen on our travels. All in all, a top spot.

What a wonderful experience. Excellent service, very friendly team - and a splendid location. Loved it.

This was an exception park. It was well maintain and very clean. The staff were friendly Although we weren't there with our kids the facilities were fantastic. Very well priced for peak season we had just paid over double the price an hour away for the same length of time. Fantastic location with direct beach access. Highly recommend

Beautiful place to stay! Staff were very welcoming and friendly! Kids had so much fun, right on the beach so was lovely to sit and have a drink down there while the kids played we will be back again soon!

Wonderful location adjacent to beach with a very easy after hours check in procedure.

We stayed here in a Cabin in February 2020 and thoroughly enjoyed it This week we stayed on a van site Sites are small and large fig trees drop seeds on the van all day all night It was great to have our dog with us She was kept on site and harnessed to a length of strap so she could not wander The Van next to us also had a dog which wander quite a bit The beach is lovely The pool is beautiful The amenities are clean The staff are friendly Some Other campers were not compliant with 10 pm rule ( quiet time) And their children not compliant with pool rules I feel for the staff of park must be frustrating at times Thank you for the lovely stays
