Indigo Snail Boutique Hmong Homestay - Hostel

Very friendly and welcoming host! The setting is like out of a movie and the food they prepared is delicious! Greatly recommended! Stay here if you want to feel at home! We only stayed here one night, but we would have loved to stay longer! The rooms are also very luxurious and clean and there are mosquito nets to protect you from the mosquitos!

Really enjoyed the cooking experience, they made us feel at home, they were very kind. Contrary to most other homestays who are managed by non-locals, this one is managed by a local host, Sung, from the Hmong ethnic tribe, so you get a real experience! Absolutely recommend it.

We had an amazing experience with Sue! We did 2 days of trekking and stayed in her Indigo Snail homestay, which was fabulous. Sue was so friendly and so knowledgeable of the local area, having lived here her whole life! The views around SaPa were amazing and Sue brought us to some areas that were not as busy with bigger tourist companies. The homestay itself was fantastic, we had a fabulous modern bungalow on the property to ourselves, and there was a delicious home cooked meal which we shared with the family and other travellers. I would highly recommend!

Sue (Host) was so accommodating with her hospitality. Rooms were in fantastic condition and the food provided was delectable. Sue goes over and above to ensure you are comfortable and even helped us with a ride back into Sapa. Sue also runs a trekking business where you get to see all around her village. She takes your personally along her route knowing exactly where to stop for the best pictures. Could not recommend this place more.
