It was a terrible experience from the start, I'm not sure if it was due to the time of year we visited (December) or the facility itself. We arrived, they couldn't find our reservation, and after some communication difficulties, they gave us a room anyway. We quickly realized why: the hostel was deserted. After dropping off our bags, we went downstairs for breakfast, only to be told that they had cancelled the service a few months ago (despite it being included in our reservation) due to the lack of tourists. Beyond these initial inconveniences, our stay was no exception. During our stay, the outside temperature was around 5 degrees Celsius, while the room temperature was around 2 degrees Celsius. The humidity was extremely high, creating condensation on the windows, which then flooded the entire room. We tried to ask for a heater to mitigate the situation, but were told that the bed warmers were sufficient, and it was denied. The result: we had booked three nights and returned to Hanoi prematurely after only one night (also due to the fog and rain that made any excursions in the surrounding area impossible). Furthermore, the property is not very conveniently located for walking or restaurants (about a 20-minute walk from the center).
