CHARM HILL SAPA HOTEL

We stayed at this hotel for three nights. We were greeted and checked in immediately upon arrival. The room had all the necessary toiletries, but on the second day, my wife didn't get a comb—she was a little upset. On the first day, the room was cool, especially at night. We also had some minor issues with the air conditioning: it wasn't working, so we called the receptionist to fix it. He adjusted the unit, but unfortunately, he entered the room wearing street shoes, which doesn't seem very hygienic. We were given two bottles of water during our stay, which was a bit inadequate. The hotel offers motorbike rentals, which cost around 200,000 VND. Breakfast was the most enjoyable part of the stay 😄 They left much to be desired. We arrived at 8:00 a.m., but there was almost nothing on offer, and when we asked about food, we were told "no, sorry." This was very disappointing, as we were expecting more. There was no meat. The staff cooked scrambled eggs upon request, but they were cooked in a huge amount of oil. The soundproofing in the hotel is very poor. One day, somewhere around 11:00 p.m. - midnight, people checked into the room next door and were making such a loud noise that we could even hear them in our room. Overall, the hotel is not bad, comfortable, and conveniently located, but we would recommend improving the breakfast and paying more attention to the details of the service.

So, I booked again, or rather extended my stay for one night, and they asked me to change rooms. This room was a couple of floors down, and the windows overlooked the hallway. Essentially, it was a windowless room. Which for me was incredibly uncomfortable. Of course, you're not going to open the blinds to look out onto the hallway where people are passing, and your bed is right across from this "window," so it was always closed. But thanks to these huge windows, you can hear absolutely everything, and it feels like you're literally living in the hallway. I wanted to leave this place as soon as possible; it was impossible to sleep properly. I was so surprised that such a perfect hotel became a place I wanted to escape from. Also, for some reason, breakfast that morning turned into a buffet, which I was warned about literally half an hour before it ended, okay. The bed was also comfortable, everything was clean, and so on. If anyone is okay with a room without windows, I still recommend it, but I felt terribly uncomfortable. I would gladly return to this hotel, but to the first room. Never to this one.

A few minutes drive from the center (still walkable), not noisy, clean, very clean, very very clean (important things should be said 3 times and quite new. The room I received was as in the picture, quite spacious. I arrived in Sapa at 6am, the staff made me a bowl of noodles and brought it to my room so we could eat early and rest before going sightseeing.
