Campanile Properties in Saone-et-Loire

The advantage of this hotel is that it's small and friendly, and all the rooms face the parking lot. They are comfortable (good bedding) with a few thoughtful touches (tea and coffee). This is still minimal service, but still very good value for money. The location is near a busy road in a nearby shopping area, and at the gateway to Macon. It straddles the city and all the surrounding small wine-growing villages, and is also at the gateway to Beaujolais, making it easily accessible from both sides. Friendly and professional reception staff. Dining options are available on site. Pleasant and friendly hotel, easy to access.

We arrived at the hotel at 7:00 PM and we could go straight to the restaurant to eat. Which was great because we didn't have to look for a restaurant anymore. There were several main courses to choose from and you could use the starters and/or dessert buffet for an additional fee. This was delicious. We only thought it was a shame that there weren't more meat dishes to choose from. We slept wonderfully and the room was clean. The breakfast buffet was also very extensive and delicious. Definitely worth repeating.
