Don’t recommend it, this is how they wash your fancy shirts… And they didn’t care to admit it.

This was a terrible experience. Upon check-in, I found the cleanliness unsatisfactory and requested a cancellation or shortened stay, which they refused. I requested an upgrade, which they agreed to, but told me to pay for it myself – I was speechless! The room facilities were extremely outdated. Ctrip listed it as a 2014 hotel, but the staff said it was actually from 2005. The room only had toilet paper, no facial tissues, and not even shower gel. The bed was also very narrow, only 0.8 meters wide. My colleague, who is 1.75 meters tall, often had to sleep off the edge of the bed at night. The distance between the two beds was also very narrow. The most ridiculous thing was the bed sheets. I've attached photos and videos, and when I called them to change them, they couldn't find a clean, stain-free sheet themselves. They had to go out and search for ages before finally returning to change them. The breakfast selection was also very limited; it was basically just various cakes every day. I had no choice but to eat omelets every day for a week. I don't know how this hotel got a 4.7 rating on Ctrip, or how it was rated as a local luxury hotel. Looking back at the reviews, many of the photos aren't of the hotel or its surroundings. For over a thousand yuan a night, this is the kind of service and facilities I expect. This is probably the worst review I've ever given, not only to the hotel but also to Ctrip! I hope you take measures to stop ripping off Chinese tourists!

Overall, it was quite good. It's close to Chinese restaurants, and conveniently located for fast food at the Sheraton next door. There's a gym and swimming pool on the rooftop. The swimming pool was a bit short and underwhelming. The gym, however, had a good number of facilities. I did laundry there; it wasn't expensive, and my clothes smelled nice. The staff were all very nice. There seemed to be quite a few Chinese guests. Breakfast didn't include vegetables, but it consisted of various breads, sausages, desserts, fried eggs, tea, and coffee. You can also take some back to your room to eat. There are quite a few TV channels.

I love this hotel. The highlight is the staff, always friendly and welcoming. In addition to being delicious, the breakfast was accompanied by a sensational pianist (Léo Ramos). The size and comfort of the room is another difference. Additionally, hotels use olfactory marketing, taking advantage of aromas that can be smelled before entering the hotel lounge.
