HHan Lin ChaiFirst, what's good about this place. A nice scenery that you wake up with if you take the ocean facing view. Its a nice walk to the beach. Very family oriented place with amenities that are chile-centric.
A good spread of breakfast and delicious too.
However, I was surprised to see services staff such as Reception, Bell boy and Gym staff seems to be dis-interested and not service oriented. Did not offer help with our baggage during our checked in. Receptionist ask us to bring our own luggage to the baggage storage. Not that we couldn't carry it but we were just very surprised to see this coming from a prestigious/luxury hotel.
Some of the equipment at the gym facilities were dirty. Watermelon seeds on the bench, dead cricket on the cable machine and visible sweat stain on the bench. The gym staff seems unbothered when we came in. Note there's a sign says that gym equipment is disinfected after each use. I came early to check out the gym and only goes to the gym after my breakfast (the dirt were still there) lmaoooo.
Room is good and the bed is very comfortable. However, I would like to point out that the room is overly used. Wooden furniture were pale and there's a mouldy smell in the shower room. Balcony privacy wooden gate seems to rotten and faulty.

DDarren B.We had a great stay at Atlantis Sanya and would recommend it for families or anyone looking for a relaxed resort vibe with beautiful design and solid amenities. The resort itself is massive, with plenty of pools, restaurants, and things to do.
Our room was opulent and well-equipped and everything we needed was there. The bed was super comfortable, water pressure in the shower was strong, and the air conditioning worked perfectly with easy temperature control. After long days in the sun, coming back to such a relaxing space made a big difference
The Aquaventure water park was definitely a highlight. It was so much fun, and surprisingly, the lines were minimal compared to places like Volcano Bay in Florida. I was able to get on every ride immediately upon climbing up the MANY flights of stairs. There was also plenty of seating when we went, though I recommend arriving early around opening time (10 am) to grab a good spot. Note that they weigh you before most rides (there’s a scale right before boarding), so be sure to check weight restrictions on the website. That said, enforcement didn’t seem too strict. The lazy river with white water rapids was a blast and takes about 20 to 30 minutes to float through.
Breakfast was another standout. There are two buffet areas so make sure to go to the one on the left (Saffron). It had a better spread and much nicer ambiance. Most guests turn right by default and miss out.
The aquarium was smaller than expected and pretty packed with kids, but still enjoyable. We saw beluga whales and several beautifully maintained tanks. The marine life looked healthy and the enclosures were clean. Bonus: entry is free for hotel guests.
The only downside was the beach, it’s public and a bit far from the resort, so we didn’t swim. Also, despite the Tiki Bar having live music and a great setup, the vibe was quiet and family-oriented. Although it looks perfect for it, don't expect a party scene like you’d find in Florida or the Bahamas.
Overall, Atlantis Sanya delivers a lot: fun activities, great food, and gorgeous surroundings—just with a more relaxed energy.

It has a lot of things you can do throughout the day.
As part of our stay we had the opportunity to go over the rope bridge and the glass bridge.
We also did the zip line and visited the pet venue.
We wanted to do the guided forest tour but it was only in chinese so we opted out. A suggestion would be to have an option in english as well.
We communicated with customer service Xiao Chen every day for our daily transportation from one place to the other. Everything run very smoothly 👌
Everyone was very friendly.
We will definitely come back again.

GGuest UserDuring this trip to Sanya, I chose to stay at Grand Hyatt Hotel in Haitang Bay, Sanya, which was undoubtedly a very correct decision. As a senior travel enthusiast, I travel between business trips and vacations all year round, and have my own insights into the hotel's service quality and facility experience. Grand Hyatt Hotel left a deep impression on me. Whether it is the overall environment of the hotel or the meticulousness of the service staff, I have benefited a lot from this trip.
First, let me talk about the hotel environment. Sanya Haitang Bay is located in the southeast of Sanya City and is one of the most beautiful bays in Sanya. The hotel is surrounded by mountains and sea, covering a vast area, surrounded by green trees and sunny. As soon as you walk into the hotel lobby, you can feel a comfortable and comfortable atmosphere. The lobby is decorated in elegant style, with the fresh atmosphere of citrus and sea breeze everywhere. The public areas of the hotel are designed in a simple and elegant manner, whether they are swimming pools, gyms, restaurants or bars.
The room I stayed in was the Supreme Sea View Room, which was very spacious and bright, with floor-to-ceiling windows that offer views of the hotel's garden. The interior of the room is elegantly decorated, with exquisite furnishings, everything is available, the bathroom is spacious and bright, and is equipped with a separate bathtub and shower. Importantly, the bedding in the room was very comfortable and I slept very sweetly every night.
In addition to excellent hardware facilities, the hotel's service is also excellent. Every service staff was enthusiastic and attentive, and left a deep impression on me without exception. May and Jasmine will take the initiative to ask me what I need, patiently answer my various questions, and ask me if I need anything else. The hotel can store my luggage so that I can hang out in the hotel with ease and pleasure. This kind of considerate service made me feel the warmth of being at home.
Overall, the stay at Grand Hyatt Hotel in Sanya Haitang Bay was perfect. The beautiful environment, comfortable rooms, delicious dining and thoughtful service all made me praise it. I believe that as long as you choose to stay at Grand Hyatt Hotel, you will definitely have an unforgettable trip to Sanya like me. Next time I have the chance to come to Sanya again, I will definitely choose this hotel again and highly recommend it to my relatives and friends.

We booked the Club King Room which came with a lot of free activities and saved us a lot.
Check in was smooth as I was helped By Guest Relations Supervisor, Dora and her colleague Nancy. They were kind, attentive and professional.
The hotel has a mini supermarket in Building 1, which was nice.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel was incredible. I would suggest S.E.A restaurant it’s a Southeast Asian Restaurant.
I feel the hotel failed my expectations in two area:
1. The spread offered at afternoon was limited and if you didn’t arrive on time you had to wait about 10-20 mins for the next batch of food to come out.
2. At Happy Hour in the club lounge, there was a few bottles of hard liquor, chilled prosecco and wine. However?l, once the bottle was empty it was replaced with another fresh bottle.
Other than that, my friend and I had an amazing stay and was definitely worth it.

AAndrew CWAThis hotel was amazing. When I arrived the conceirge came to collect our suitcase, and I thaught that this gesture was excellent. Checking in was quick and smoothly done. How could forget to highlight hotel manager called ”Sweet” she was fabulous and professional, she made me wanting to extend my stay at this hotel immediately. Sweet is very sweet indeed, she is just like her name. People, when you book this hotel, just let Manager Sweet take care of you. You not regret it. Beach is nearby as well but not from the property, walking distance away. Omg there is more, the lobby area is gorgeously arranged, there is an amazing play area for kids, the room I stayed in had everything I needed to make my stay comfortable. The only issue I had was the pool water which what frigid. The hotel should consider heating a section of the pool. Overall, 5 stars rating for this hotel and Manager Sweet, thank you very much. Well done.

The hours for breakfast is quite long and it helps to have a brunch instead of an early breakfast for those who'd like to sleep in during the holidays. The buffet is pretty decent with a lot of options. Rooms are quite spacious. Taxis are quick. Massage spa in the hotel is nice as well.
Cons: I don't have strong cons, but there are definitely some things that can be improved to make the hotel a better stay and upgrade the quality. Such as better toiletries, the toothpaste and shampoo/conditioner were cheap products that didn't do much so I would highly recommend to bring your own. The sofa bench in our room was stained. I loved that we had an iron and board in our room, but the board was about 10 years old and didn't even stand straight.
The pool area was quite confusing and not logically structured. So many sections were always closed off. It required you to go a long way around to the beach and limit your freedom of where to swim.
During breakfast time, the management poorly scheduled/organized their staff, leaving one worker to clean all the tables during its busy time. This led to many people standing around waiting for tables to be cleaned or sitting at a dirty table.
Overall, it's not a bad hotel at all, but if you're not on a budget, you can spend money on a more updated one. Though this one has its perk of being beachfront.

GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is quite good, it is relatively close to the front, and it is not far from anywhere, which is very convenient.
Facilities: Complete infrastructure, the swimming pool is small and big, but it is fun enough, there is a big bathtub in the room, bathrobes and towels are disposable, and the best thing is that they can be changed every day.
Sanitation: Very clean, no sand or paper scraps can be seen on the ground, the trash can in the room is also changed every day, the bedding is a little hard but there is no odor.
Environment: Living in a sea view room, the view is wide, the mood is comfortable, the garden has a high coverage rate of green plants, and there are coconut trees for large films. Get up early to listen to the waves and watch the moon at night, but there is still the unique wet feeling of the seaside.
Service: Very good, there are many breakfast options, and I eat full every day. Dinner is changed to hot pot. I thought it was a little less before, but after communicating with the housekeeper, I immediately added dishes, which is great. The key is that it is also delicious. Fruits and a small refrigerator are sent and restocked every day.
Finally, I want to thank my housekeeper Xiaohai, who is really 24h service and can solve any questions I have. The service is great.
