I’ll be very honest in this review.
The place is very hard to get into, no reception whatsoever.
The location is about 52mins from Sanya Phoenix Airport. Very far from downtown Sanya (if you’re looking for a night life). We were welcomed at the gate and taken to a room that was not initially our booking. English is minimal m/non existent so most communication was done on wechat. Nothing was explained as to how things work. You have to ask to get an answer. This goes for activities, apartment amenities etc. There is hardly anything around, including food, so come prepared. Very Chinese restaurants. The pool of the place has curfew times which is really unfortunate and unprofessional, it should’ve been noted in the booking. There is also a deposit of 500¥ you pay upfront. Apartment has no warmer/microwave. Or foreigner friendly cutlery, glasses or anything. The cleaning is very minimal and new towels are not given, unhygienic. They deduct 200¥ if you haven’t washed dishes which is unacceptable because it’s part of the apartment cleaning service that you for.
Sanya Houhai and Dadongai Bay are about 30-40 mins away. Only one room key is provided for a 3 bedroom (6 occupancy room). Only when we asked we where told there is a private beach 1km away from the complex.
Overall if you’re looking to explore Sanya and see it’s beauty, this is not the place. The villa nearby is beautiful but not ideal for seeing and exploring Sanya. The service here is questionable but affordable and very quiet if you’re not looking to be in the city centre of Sanya.
