Palm Beach Resort Yalong Bay Sanya（Tianhong Resort)

Got an upgrade to a sea-view room, which was just across the road from the beach – the view was fantastic! The room had a smart toilet and a XiaoDu smart speaker for controlling appliances. The water pressure in the taps and shower was excellent. We contacted them in advance, and they installed a baby safety fence and provided a baby bathtub; all the child amenities were well-prepared, making it perfect for families. The front desk service was great; they delivered luggage, food deliveries, and other items directly to our room. It's also very close to Baihua Valley Night Market and the Underwater World. The hotel's restaurant offered good food and great value for money. The butler service was also superb, delivering towels and water to us on the private beach very promptly!

Our overall experience was excellent. The laundry service was efficient, clean, and prompt, which was incredibly useful for us since we were out and about swimming every day. The room was clean and tidy, and the balcony view was fantastic (even if calling it a 'sea view' is a bit of a stretch, it was still beautiful). This well-known hotel is located in the heart of Yalong Bay Beach. I stayed here once over a decade ago, and my impression this time was still excellent. The location and hotel environment are superb; it's the perfect choice for a relaxing vacation, with beach strolls and stunning sunrises and sunsets. The hotel service is excellent. During check-in, the front desk attendant personally escorted us to our room and introduced the hotel's facilities, dining options, and various services. What's particularly commendable are the many extra services, such as airport pickup, a free shuttle to Nanshan Scenic Area, and especially the complimentary laundry service, which deserves special praise. All in all, this is a highly cost-effective resort hotel that I wholeheartedly recommend!

It's a pretty good hotel, close to the beach with sun loungers and a pool. The service is good, but the staff could be a bit more proactive. The front desk was very kind and allowed us a late check-out. The laundry service was good, but the breakfast wasn't tasty. Overall, it's a decent place, though it was much more expensive on Christmas Eve.

Packing up my things in the room, I felt a pang of sadness at leaving Tianhong for the first time. If you're on a budget, choosing Tianhong is a smart move. For this price, you get to experience a sea-view room, smart home features, and service that's almost on par with Haidilao – it’s truly incredible value. Although I don't know their names, from the security guards and front desk staff to the cleaners and restaurant servers – let's call them the 'Tianhong people' for now – they are genuine and sincere. I'd give them a score higher than perfect. They anticipate your needs, and even things you haven't thought of. They provided laundry detergent, and 12 hangers were enough for all my clothes. My requests weren't just met, they were fulfilled immediately and unconditionally, which genuinely overwhelmed me. 1) Location: It’s a ten-minute walk to the beach, and the hotel also has an elevated viewing platform, offering a breathtaking panoramic view. 2) Environment: Clean and tidy, with no dust. 3) Exercise: Every morning, I enjoyed a pleasant run around the lake on the rubber track, about 3 km. 4) Breakfast: Decent and not unpleasant, with a good variety, and different options each day. 5) Surprises: The room is fully automated. By simply calling out "Xiao Du, Xiao Du," many requests can be fulfilled. Turning lights on and off, opening and closing curtains... One time, I said, "It would be great if some water could be delivered," and less than two minutes later, a staff member brought me six bottles of water. Isn't that surprising? When I was leaving, I said, "It would be nice if some music could be played," and immediately, Karen Mok's "The World Has So Many People" started playing. Surprising, right? You can also ask Xiao Du for directions and weather forecasts – it’s truly amazing. Areas for improvement: 1) Hairdryer: It's quite old and blows too hot, making my hair a bit frizzy. Of course, I didn't ask the Tianhong people for a replacement at the time, though I'm sure they would have swapped it immediately, given how they met my other requests. But I was already so content that I didn't bother to ask. 2) Water temperature: On the first day, the shower water was strong and hot, both in the morning and evening, which was normal. On the second night, I returned late, around 11 PM, and the water was a bit inconsistent, fluctuating between hot and cold. But it was fine; I just felt I wasn't that dirty, so I showered quickly. Overall, I'm satisfied. It felt like they were doing everything in their power with their available resources to make me happy. What more could I possibly complain about?

Had a very pleasant stay at the Yalong Bay Tianhong Hotel for six days. The hotel's environment is beautiful, and the room was comfortable, spacious, and clean, with a well-thought-out layout. The service from the former supervisor at the front desk was especially warm and attentive.
