Fanari Villas

Fanari Villas is an excellent hotel, offering the best spot to watch the sunset. The price is reasonable, and the service is great. There are many Chinese guests. The rooms with a bathtub are worth staying in, and the water temperature is constant. Breakfast is self-service, with additional items available for an extra charge. For our anniversary trip, we received a complimentary bottle of red wine and a 10% discount at the restaurant. It's advisable to book your table at the restaurant in advance with the hotel.

Finally stayed at the cliffside hotel of my dreams in Santorini – Fanari Villas! It's perched at the highest point of Oia's caldera, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the entire caldera and the deep blue Aegean Sea. The room is an authentic volcanic cave suite, complete with gracefully curved white arches and stone flooring that exude Mediterranean romance. The entire suite was spotlessly clean, and the bathroom was dry and odor-free. The hotel has its own sea-view restaurant, and the breakfast included was fresh and plentiful. Dining on the cliffside with such picturesque scenery was truly delightful. The staff were incredibly gentle and attentive. They proactively helped with our luggage and were super responsive to any requests we had. This was the most unforgettable accommodation experience of our trip. Highly recommend Fanari Villas!

The room offered complete privacy with a balcony, allowing us to enjoy the breathtaking views of Santorini all to ourselves! While Oia's sunset can be incredibly crowded, staying in a caldera-view room at this hotel means you can watch the sunset right from your room. It was also wonderful to enjoy an elegant meal at the hotel's restaurant while watching the sunset!

The villa room was okay, but the bathroom and shower were really tiny. I definitely won't be staying at this hotel again. I had to check out late due to work, and the front desk staff had an awful attitude. I even said I was willing to pay a late fee if necessary, but they were still very rude and insistent on me leaving immediately. I absolutely do not recommend the steak at the hotel restaurant; it was covered in a layer of salt, incredibly salty, and inedible. The breakfast service was also very mediocre!

Excellent location and service. Although my English wasn't great, the front desk staff were very helpful and kind in assisting me. I definitely want to stay here again.

An absolutely perfect resort with unbeatable views. Sitting on my own private terrace, sipping a custom-made 'Sunset Lover' cocktail while watching the Oia sunset – that alone makes life worth living. The service responsiveness was excellent too. My only minor wish is for more breakfast options. A small hiccup was that they initially couldn't find my booking. It turned out I had accidentally booked for next year! Trip.com helped coordinate the date change, which I was very grateful for.
