Sun Beach

This hotel is consistently absolutely perfect It is clean, the rooms are well appointed, the pool area and terrace are really spacious with plenty beds and umbrellas and on this occasion we were on the 8th floor the views were stunning We were checked in by Marta who was so helpful and informative,the other reception stafff were equally professional and welcoming at all times If you are looking for self catering in a central area you would do well to book here you won’t be disappointed

The locationg is great ,close to everything.With a choice of 4 bars,one at reception,one pool bar,Bloody Marys,And Sun Burgers all the same complex.We found Bloody Marys the best place to eat ,all the staff are very friendley ,Joseph was great .The reception and cleaning staff are advising you of cleaning rooms and trips away.Room was spottless.We required 2 low floor apartments together due to disabled family.Got second floor....I would not say its great for children,pool bit small,and its nousy at night from groups.Could hear a number of arguments with people around in other rooms.We had a group of men below us at back of a restaurant (staff)drinking till after 4am.Bottle bins are noisy ,pubs empty into large bins around 3 then bin men at 4am...This is NOT the Sun Beach fault.As i said loved the place ,but no good if yr disabled on low floors.

5* experience, exceptionally clean, all staff we're so lovely, polite and extremely helpful. 10% off the nicest food right outside the entrance (Bloody Mary's). Amazing location, 1 minute to the beach. Sun terrace's that get the sun all day with plenty of sun loungers (wasn't too busy as it was march). Rooms are exceptionally clean with everything needed (kettle, toaster ect).Firm comfy beds (thought it was gonna be too hard when I first felt them but had the best sleep in years). Such a positive atmosphere throughout the hotel, staff make it such a warm and comfortable place. Well equipped bar at reception to buy your water, a coffee or enjoy a nice bevvy& a lovely little pool bar! Will definitely be back!!!

Stayed for 7 days in March over the St Patrick’s parade weekend. The hotel is in a good location for most bars and restaurants. The hotel staff were very friendly and always stopped to chat when we walked through reception. The room was lovely and clean. We were located on the 9th floor so had a lovely view. Only downside is the 3 lifts you have to take however this doesn’t knock any stars off for me. Could not find a fault even if I tried. Would highly recommend staying here

Lovely hotel. Clean rooms, the maids are so sweet too. You're right near some bars and restaurants but I must say the restaurants aren't the best. We were very unlucky with the weather but we made the most of it. Spent every day at the beach as the pool is freezing. But we took a gamble coming so early in the season. Alma beach bar and restaurant was the best place we went within walking distance. Bloody Mary's for breakfast was great too. But apart from that we mainly ate at McDonald's and burger king because the local restaurants really aren't up to much. I expect more places will open as the season progresses. Santa Ponsa is very Brits abroad but the beach is lovely. Peguera is easy to get to on a bus and it's beautiful. Palma nova is awful. Come with an open mind and enjoy yourself, can't fault the hotel.

Lovely central apartment hotel in Santa Ponsa. Near to everything, yet quiet and relaxing. Scrupulously clean, nice staff. A bit quirky to get to top floor, up 3 lifts, but worth it for the view. We are disabled but it was not problem for us. If you hire a car, there is a big muni pal free car park two minutes away. Out side the front are two restaurant/ bars that are part of the hotel and give you discount with you room card. The food is good too. Great beach 1 minute away. Loads of restaurants and fun bars close by. Enjoy.

Good location near beach. Rooms clean but very little storage for clothes - small 1/2 size wardrobe and 4 shelves. Some really good food places next to hotel.

One of the best holiday we have had, we love Majorca in general but this hotel and Santa Ponsa on a whole has stole our hearts. This hotel was convenient, good value for money and appropriate for us. Receptionists on the desks were friendly and good with children, they were helpful when we needed help with anything. We are easy going people so the many floors or steps didn’t bother us, we were on floor 6 so had to go up in a lift to floor 3 and then walk across to another lift to floor 7 and walk down one floor, again this did not bother us but can see why it may be inconvenient for some. We enjoyed taking in the views as we walked. The rooms themselves were good, clean and tidy we do not have much of a balcony more of a porch but did the job fine. The shower worked well and the beds were comfortable, tv and hairdryer was all in good working order. The pool was good and clean, as were the sunbeds and tables around the pool and bar area. Good deal with getting 10% off in the two bars attached to the hotel. For the price of the hotel I would say it is a good value and expectation for the price you pay. It’s a super lactation with good bars and restaurants surrounding it and a short walk away from the beach. Would definitely recommend.
