Hotels near Metro Calvary Chapel, Santa Monica

Needless to say, the design is amazing and I can’t find any faults. The materials and quality of items in the lobby and rooms are all online. Unfortunately, there are too many people in the public areas. At 11am, there are not even empty seats in the coffee area. Locals come here to socialize, and taking photos would be too awkward to pick up your phone.

Staff super helpful from start, room nice and clean, location is great (walking distance from SM pier)… the wifi provided for free is enough for what you have to do on a regular day (option to upgrade to fast for a fee) valet parking available for $45 a day ( the area charges around $30 per day for public parking, so its a good deal as you can go in an out as many times as you can)

The room is relatively large, with twin beds, each bed is 1.5 meters. The room decoration, lamps and bedding are more elegant. Go out to the right, turn left at the intersection for about 50 meters and you will arrive at Santa Monica Beach. The hotel is in a relatively central location with many restaurants. Hotel parking is more expensive, it costs 55 knives. But there is a public parking lot on the street behind, 15 dollars for 24 hours, 20 dollars on Saturday and Sunday. The prices of hotels in this area are pretty competitive,so don’t don’t be fooled by the shore hotel’s rates! The hotel is nice, in a prime location, and each and every staff member was kind and extremely helpful. We met Ramon on the first night of our stay and he and the rest of the staff have been nothing but personable, helpful and attentive. To top it all off, the hotel food is actually better than some of the much more expensive restaurants in the area. Moral of the story: stay at the shore hotel, you won’t be disappointed!

The most caring people I have ever encountered. Upon arrival from AUS at 8.30 am my phone battery was flat and my bank travel Mastercard card wasn’t working so I was unable to pay the taxi driver. I was travelling solo and hadn’t slept in 36 hours so I was stressed and barely lucid when I walked in to the hotel. Lucia at front desk took care of things for me. We got my phone working, got the cab driver paid then she called house keeping and organised a room to be cleaned ASAP so I could check in early. I was in my room in bed by 10am thanks to her. After a lovely afternoon out and about, the next morning I woke up vomiting and running a fever. They don’t have room service so the front desk staff brought anti-nausea ***** and water up to my room within 3 minutes of me calling. They offered to phone and check in on me throughout the day as they knew I was travelling alone. The next morning when I checked out at 5.30am to get to LAX I got in my Uber and as it was about to leave the woman on front desk came running out, stopped us from leaving and said to me “you said your Uber’s a Nissan, this isn’t a Nissan, you should get out of the car”. It turned out a previous guest had taken my Uber. Once we realised this, the driver of the Uber I was in would not take me, told me to leave his vehicle and get my bags out of his car. As I had a plane to catch and was worried I would miss it, the same front desk lady rang me a cab which arrived in minutes. If you are a solo traveller STAY AT THIS HOTEL!! The rooms are beautiful, spacious and clean. To top it all off Lucia didn’t charge me for early check in; she said given how stressful getting there had been, it was the least she could do to help. Gifts from God and great beds to boot!

It's a 10-minute walk to Santa Monica Beach.But there's a lot of homelessness on the road. I can't get around late at night. The hotel staff is very good. The man wearing glasses is a little cynical when checking in. The room I reserved was the smallest and the lighting was very dark. Keep that in mind.

The Oceana is a truly fabulous hotel on the beach in Santa Monica. The staff is amazing. They are attentive and polite and very friendly. The front desk service was excellent. I can’t stress enough how clean and well attended the Oceana is. There are no stains or dirt on the carpets, the rooms are well decorated with great pictures and amenities and the furnishings are comfortable. The bedding is clean and comfortable with plenty of comfortable pillows. The mattress was excellent . You don’t see marks on the walls, wallpaper falling off, dirty windows, moldy grout. It’s the cleanest, cutest hotel I have ever stayed in. It is in a great location for all Santa Monica sights. You can tell the people that own and run the Oceana really care about providing their guests with a great experience. It is well worth the price. Don’t miss out on this gem.

The location is very good, going out is the beach. Service attitude is generally friendly. You can ask the room for slippers, toothpaste, toothbrush and hot water. The room is very new, there is a shower room and the bed is not bad. Recommended room breakfast, very good, the uncle of the meal is very humorous. Feeling partial business, not too diligent service, but as long as you ask, will respond quickly.

The hotel is in a good location and in a good location, just 4.5 minutes to Santa Monica Beach. Because the language is not very good, the front desk staff is very enthusiastic. The room is large and the bed is large.

This hotel’s location is so amenable to a pedestrian; one can walk to coffee shops, Whole Foods, Target, restaurants and the Brew Works taproom. The bus stop serving downtown Santa Monica or L.A. is right across the street. The “E” line light rail stop is just five blocks away. No need for a car! Hotel highlights are bright hallways, fourth floor sundeck and a daily breakfast. Room highlights include an excellent color scheme, tasteful beach-themed art, windows that actually open, above-bed reading lights and a mini-fridge. Not to even mention the comfortable bed and no issues with noise. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I rate this hotel a top-tier value and it has been my go-to Santa Monica lodging for several years.
