The location is very good, the transportation is convenient, the room facilities are relatively new, and the sound insulation is slightly weak

The amenities are very basic compared to other asian country hotels, but its one the most comfiest, friendly, and clean places we’ve stayed in LA. We have recently checked out from a very well known luxurious hotel and apparently this hotel is better!! Great job, overall a very satisfying stay

Nice clean and quiet despite being on busy Pico Blvd. I did have a room away from Pico so I'm sure that helped. Super clean, great shower and comfortable bed with fluffy bedding. Room came with a cute kitchen area. Convenient to Big Blue Bus stops which are fabulous for getting around Santa Monica and surrounding areas. I plan on staying here again!

Rooms actually look nice like the pictures. The outside looks a bit rough, but I like that the parking lot is right below. Cynthia checked me in and was patient with me and checked me in fast. I requested a room by the smoking area and an iron and extra towel at check in and by the time I reached my room the housekeeper already was waiting for me at my room door. I will be staying here again. It beats a lot of the motels on Century Blvd, and rooms are super clean.

The most caring people I have ever encountered. Upon arrival from AUS at 8.30 am my phone battery was flat and my bank travel Mastercard card wasn’t working so I was unable to pay the taxi driver. I was travelling solo and hadn’t slept in 36 hours so I was stressed and barely lucid when I walked in to the hotel. Lucia at front desk took care of things for me. We got my phone working, got the cab driver paid then she called house keeping and organised a room to be cleaned ASAP so I could check in early. I was in my room in bed by 10am thanks to her. After a lovely afternoon out and about, the next morning I woke up vomiting and running a fever. They don’t have room service so the front desk staff brought anti-nausea drugs and water up to my room within 3 minutes of me calling. They offered to phone and check in on me throughout the day as they knew I was travelling alone. The next morning when I checked out at 5.30am to get to LAX I got in my Uber and as it was about to leave the woman on front desk came running out, stopped us from leaving and said to me “you said your Uber’s a Nissan, this isn’t a Nissan, you should get out of the car”. It turned out a previous guest had taken my Uber. Once we realised this, the driver of the Uber I was in would not take me, told me to leave his vehicle and get my bags out of his car. As I had a plane to catch and was worried I would miss it, the same front desk lady rang me a cab which arrived in minutes. If you are a solo traveller STAY AT THIS HOTEL!! The rooms are beautiful, spacious and clean. To top it all off Lucia didn’t charge me for early check in; she said given how stressful getting there had been, it was the least she could do to help. Gifts from God and great beds to boot!

The Shore Hotel is an amazing hotel! We started with a complimentary glass of champagne and then proceeded to our room by the quaint garden! We loved the speciality shampoos, conditioner, etc, the beds were comfortable and there was a lovely little balcony! The pool was great and the customer service was top notch! You could not beat the location as it is right across the street from the Santa Monica Pier! We will definitely tell our friends about this hotel and will be stay here again if we are back in the area!

It’s very close to Universal Studios Hollywood. Walkable distance, 8 mins walk. There is shuttle bus provided but we prefer walking. The room is spacious and clean. The stuffs are friendly and helpful. Great stay.

It's best All the staff are overly friendly Help each and every erotic matter as if it were your own I didn't expect much from a hostel, but to be honest, I'd rather choose this hostel than a cheap hotel. There is nothing lacking in the facilities. The lounge on the 2nd floor and the common dining room on the 1st floor. It felt like a newly built dormitory at a university. Of course, there was no deposit, and on nights when the door to the front door and the entrance to the room were closed, you had to swipe the card 3 times to enter. I felt very safe. You can get to Santa Monica Beach within 10 minutes on foot, 1 block The bedding is also very clean. I don't think there's anything wrong with roommates here.

Suited my needs perfectly. It’s the basics with a spacious, shared bathroom. The bed was comfortable, and the price was right.

We are Hilton Honors members and stay exclusively at Hilton properties whenever possible. They are dependable and consistent, but are always missing the small details that would bring them to great in my opinion. Service is always excellent and property is always well maintained. The details that are consistently missing: GOOD COFFEE, lighted magnified makeup mirror, nice fluffy towels and lots of them, more than one bar of soap, extra pillows. At this hotel we had three pillows, if you are going to sit up and read you need at least four. There was not a single wash cloth so I used a large towel to wash my face. Only one bar of soap and no shower gel so the soap travelled from sink to shower a few times. No top sheet on the bed so we were sleeping directly under the quilt, kind of creepy wondering if they wash the quilt after every guest. This hotel had excellent security which I appreciated because the neighborhood is a bit sketchy. You could not enter the hotel at all or use the restrooms in the lobby without a hotel key. If you didn’t have a key the receptionist would have to buzz you in. Valet parking only and expensive at $49, but worth it for convenience and safety. I did not take advantage of the pool or breakfast, but nice that they have them.
