4 Star Hotels in Santa Margherita Ligure

This was one of our favorite hotels we’ve ever stayed in. The location was perfect-very walkable, but still quiet. The hotel staff went out of their way to make us feel at home.

All very well, little service at breakfast and the elevator is inconvenient. Very central clean and convenient location.

Our room was very comfortable and the 4th floor location was great! The room was listed as a garden view, but from our lovely terrace, we definitely had partial ocean view! We loved having a terrace complete with a table, 2 chairs, two lounge chairs and a remote control awning, to make shade if needed! The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was nice. The front desk staff and the staff in the dining area were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast choices were varied and good. We didn’t use the rooftop pool, lounge chairs, or hot tub but it looked fun. We also didn’t swim or access the private beach; the price of 50 Euros for 2 lounge chairs and an umbrella seemed a bit expensive. We were unsure if we could have gone there just to sit and have a drink without paying a fee. We should have asked. The location is about a 20 minute walk from the train station and there are no sidewalks for a small section as you get close to the hotel, so you have to change to the water side of the street and then cross back over. The city buses from the train station seem to always be very, very full so using the bus with any luggage would have been almost impossible.

The food is very good, abundant breakfast, a fantastic view.

Great price-performance ratio. Great location - only the parking situation is less good: narrow and narrow, too few parking spaces. Very friendly staff, beautiful rooms (have a beautiful view of the port), good breakfast.
