This hotel is great if you're visiting Yosemite, as it's not far from the South Gate. The location is excellent, right next to a Hampton Inn and a Holiday Inn. The public areas on the first floor are nice, and the breakfast area is good, though it can get crowded. The rooms are decent, but the soundproofing between floors isn't the best. Overall, I'd still recommend it.

This hotel has a swimming pool and hot springs, but it was too late when we arrived and they were closed, so we didn't get to soak in the hot springs. We were arranged to rest on the second floor, and there was no elevator. We had to carry our luggage up by ourselves, which was not very convenient.

The breakfast was good. If you go early, you can get strawberries and other fruits. The town is very comfortable and safe. It is close to the University of California, Santa Cruz. The only drawback is that the gym is not very good. It is right in front of the swimming pool and it is very sunny in the morning.

The room was comfortable and a good size, the hotel was new and the staff was friendly. The hotel is located next to Road 1, but it is not noisy. It is very close to UCSC and almost at the foot of the mountain. Many students and parents choose it.

We liked the size and comfort of the room but we had some issues. Our King suite had two televisions but neither worked. We ended up having to move rooms after we had unpacked, which was a hassle, and into a noisy part of the hotel with a ton of activity. It was not ideal and I don’t know if we would stay here again. The front desk attendant in the morning was much more helpful, and we certainly wish he’d been on duty the night before.
