I really enjoyed my stay here at Hotel Stratford. The room was a lot nicer than I expected for the price I paid. The room was really clean and the bed was super comfortable. I loved the waffles they served for breakfast. I don’t have anything negative to say about this stay. The room was clean and updated, breakfast was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely be staying here again.

The room is comfortable, the supplies are newer, there is free coffee all day, American breakfast, simpler, the hotel has free parking! Location is also good to find, not far from the Bay Area.

Nice surprise to find such a value for such a modestly priced room. Was not expecting this level of quality. I am happy to write that room was clean, bed mattress firm and new. Bathroom clean. Everything, lights, tv, fridge, air/heating, hair dryer, microwave, etc. all in perfect working order. Did have a minor issue to bring attention to staff. However, staff took my concern seriously and immediately took action to resolve. They are responsive, pleasant and professional, here. I am happy that I've stayed, and will gladly return the next time I need a room in this area.

A friend hinted we would like this place…and boy did we! Every aspect of this remodeled older shell was aimed at quality. Quiet efficient room A/C…. Real room furniture instead of rickety cheap stuff….nice ergo desk chair….top marks for cleanliness absolutely spotless and shiny clean fixtures…. All normal room amenities but the coffe cups are real ceramic mugs if that tells you how this place is….. breakfast was great including real normal bacon rather than those paper thin things…. Staff is incredibly eager to make sure your stay is perfect. A few International plug styles say this hidden gem is frequented by Asian travelers and this place did remind me of the high end hotels we stayed at in Shanghai. We have stayed in many hundreds of hotels but this is near the best ever. I promise you won’t be disappointed if you are tired of the same cookie cutter big brand hotel rooms.

My wife, I had an amazing fun time here at the Best Western we alwayz do. The Wifi, Pool, Fitness Center, and Free Breakfast is the best part. It’s fun for Kid’s, Friend’s, Family, and it’s also great for a party.

The greeting you get on arrival and any questions you may think will obtain a response probably has already set the tone, but in going back to your room you will be happy. Let the place clear out of the strong cleaning fluid odor....at least you know it is clean. Try to get a spot in the back as it seems less noisy there. the home run here is the comp breakfast which is as good as any in this chain or any other. One lady tends to the place nicely, always clean, well stocked and way beyond what you are expecting. Even a chatty group who seemed to all be attending a quilting show. The rub here is the location and yet if you go just 6 blocks down Camino Real you will fine yourself in Sunnyvale.....very hip and stuffed with excellent dining and accommodations. You do not need to look for Sunnyvale, you can tell as soon as you cross from Santa Clara.
