Iberostar Cala Millor - Adults Only

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Iberostar in Cala Millor. The staff from front the desk to chamber crew, all friendly and professional. We would like to thank front desks Magui,and Josep. The restaurant staff were top notch. Thank you Ventura, Fidel,Natalia and dissy. You made dining a pleasure. The Bar tender, Jasmin, he is one of best Bar Tender I have met over 60 years. We will return next year.

My wife and I spent seven days at Iberostar in Calla Millor and we were both so impressed. The hotel is very modern and incredibly well looked after. Everywhere is so clean and the facilities are excellent. We used the fitness room (which is open 24hrs a day and well equipped) for our weight training and we swam in the indoor pool most days. The sauna is fabulous too. The hotel is right on the beach and we had an outstanding sea view from our room. The staff are exceptional, everyone made us feel very welcome throughout the entire week and we were sad to say goodbye. The hotel is also very well positioned next to the gorgeous nature reserve that we went for walks in a few times. One of the best things about the Iberostar is the buffet meals. We had half board so breakfast and dinner everyday. There was a huge selection of quality food and different themed nights, we particularly enjoyed the Mexican night. The downstairs bar is very chilled and we enjoyed playing pool down there quite often. The rooms are modern and very well maintained. The people make the place and the staff here really impressed us, thank you for helping us have a brilliant holiday!!

Just got back from a week AI here and can’t wait to go back, it’s my new favourite hotel. Won’t repeat lots of previous comments but would just like to say a big thank you to all the staff, so friendly and helpful an asset to the business. Our room was a basic garden room in the basement, I did feel a bit as if you were the poor relations going down there, the floor covering in the corridors left a lot to be desired but once in the room everything was fine and a lovely little garden outside. A kettle and some expensive looking herbal teas was provided. I would just like to reiterate one previous comment about the bar service, it was a bit confusing, when they’re busy in the evening they prefer you to sit down and order, some people went up to the bar and they sometimes just don’t have the time to deal with them if you take a table you’re served really quickly anyway. The hotel management need to make this clear. In the restaurant they also prefer you to sit and be served your drinks, which again isn’t a problem. I found the breakfast and lunch the most enjoyable meals, in the evening they did do a theme every night Japan, Mexican, Moroccan tagine, which tasted ok but looked a bit unappetising. One evening my chicken from the griddle wasn’t cooked properly, I told the server but he wasn’t really interested. Likewise the hand sanitizer was empty for 24 hours, again I mentioned it but nothing happened, I might be labouring this point, but having contracted a really bad bout of food poising on a previous holiday I’d prefer it if the guests were encouraged to use it a bit more. This is the reason I’ve not given a five star review. I enjoyed the entertainment, Mowtown man was great, also rock group on Monday, everyone was dancing and having a really great evening, not everyone was old. I know some guests like music around the pool area but to me not having it was a bonus. So all in all a great holiday, thank you, Iberostar.

The hotel did not disappoint on food. I chose the all inclusive package which comes with three meals, snacks, and certain drinks at the bar. When I was searching for last minute accommodation I knew that taking the stress out of finding a spot for each meal would be a huge plus since this was meant to be a relaxing couples trip. There is only one restaurant and it is buffet style, but you have a great view of the sea as you’re eating and the restaurant seemed to follow a different theme each day. The hotel seemed to attract an older crowd which I didn’t mind at all. We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, but if you’re looking for a lot of activities and a more lively crowd, this isn’t it. They did have live music at night, but again, it was catered to an older crowd. The room was clean, simple, and the view was beautiful. The staff was awesome. Period. They were kind and up eat the whole time we were there. Luis in the restaurant was so welcoming and professional. He even remembered our names and greeted us by name for every meal! The location was perfect for us. A 15-20 minute walk got us into the shopping district in Cala Millor and an extra 20 minutes up the beach got us to Cala Bona. We were able to get the most out of our 5 days on the island without a car. The bus from Cala Millor to Palma was only about €7 each, but we chose to stay in the Cala Millor area for this trip.

Exceptional holiday in every way brilliant room (205)overlooking both pool and beach, great selection of food available all mealtimes, with attentive staff pleasant and always smiling, pool bar service and staff friendly and welcoming with a special mention for Jassim who covered the evenings who was super efficient alongside the rest of the team. Hotel was immaculately clean in all areas can highly recommended this hotel especially if you’re celebrating a special occasion we were celebrating my wife’s birthday,the hotel staff were very accommodating.

I would like to start off by thanking Iberostar Cala Minor for their great customer service, care and hospitality. My friends and I stayed for three nights in the Hotel. We were celebrating a Hen Do. We paid for the All Inclusive package. I would like to first of all thank, Pau, David, Alfonso, Sergio, Yun, Libertad and Christian. For their excellent service. I especially and specifically want to thank, Bessy for her brilliant customer service skills, her attentiveness and for never failing to greet my friends and I. Bessy, never failed to put a smile on my face. She was a star and provided an impeccable service during breakfast and lunch hours. The people mentioned above provided our Hen Group of 6 girls a very welcoming, refreshing and overall peaceful experience. I felt our needs and requests were listened to and heard with the upmost care and consideration. I will for future reference, highly recommend this Hotel and Iberostar Hotels to my family members, friends in the United Kingdom. Thank you, again for all your patience, warmth and understanding! After visiting last year, we just had to come back again. Everything was just as good as we had experienced previously with just the small hiccup on check in. Our request for a higher floor room had been overlooked ( requested via the travel company rather than directly with the hotel) but we were relocated the following day to a high floor sea view. As before, everything is spotlessly clean. House keeping staff always smiling and greeting you, as are the restaurant and bar staff. As mentioned in other reviews, reception can take a little time, but I feel that the attention you are given there more than makes up for it. The food for us was excellent, plenty of choice and a great selection. The lower bar can get busy and service sometimes reflects this which is not really any criticism of the staff, but is what it is. The location really is a best of both worlds. Turn one way and you can stroll into the resort and enjoy the holiday vibe, or you can turn the other and walk into the nature reserve and enjoy the views over the rocks and be away from it all. Unfortunately my wife was ill during our stay resulting in a doctor call out at night. The lady on Reception was absolutley fantastic. She arranged the doctor, told me of the fees I could expect, checked pharmacies nearby and sorted a return taxi to one virtually on the spot. I didn't get her name but I cannot thank her enough for her help. A day or so later as we walked through she caught our attention and asked how we were - the head waiter also asking her how she was. You can't train people to do that, having nice people working for you do that - thank you! My top tip would be if the budget allows it get a seaview room on a high floor and request the middle room. As the balcony is further forward than your neighbour, it feels like it is a private area just for you
