The hotel is very good and is very clean and clean. The hotel is very clean and the staff are very clean (the only bemol: the water of ”robinet” is paying).. , otherwise the food is very varied and fresh.. In total 4 out of 5.. Recommended

Firstly upon our arrival our room wasn't ready, all inclusive you are given a plastic card in return at bar ur given a plastic glass with chosen drink, u must then return your glass in exchange with a card! (Wristbands easier)as a party of 4 we felt as all.inclusive we was looked down on, no table service unless your paying! After 11pm all Inc stops......$8.50 for a gin.....discusting in my opinion. There's an older bar man and the rudest man I've ever met! Reception staff not over friendly. Witnessed a toddler near drowning.....life guard was on his phone! Both pools are really cold! Rooms are dated but cleaned daily( cleaners where polite) food was okish...hotel was predominatly french and Germans whom were very rude and arrogant, not many English holiday makers. Entertainment was appalling and 1 evening it kicked off with families due to rude families standing infront of stage! Not many sunbeds for the ground pools we found out you have to que of a morning to get a bed the floor surrounding the pool is very slippy ( many slips and falls) lifts are really slow with 1ift broken for 2 dys. I would not recommend this hotel and wished I'd have read reviews prior to booking. Rooms also have no insulation could hear nxt rooms talking!

Good hotel just stayed with hotel full of students so breakfast and dinner was like a cattle market but had the pool area all day until they came back from their trips beach was close by

We stayed here for 5 nights before a cruise . We were travelling with myself and hubbie and 2 kids and in another room was my mum and dad . I was a bit hesitant before arriving as some of the reviews were poor but I needn’t have worried. The staff are amazing and so friendly . The rooms were modern and beds comfy . Lovely bathroom also . They supply body wash and shampoo and have a decent hairdryer . You can also borrow an iron from Reception if you need one. Hotel was full when we stayed . Food - we were half board so had breakfast and dinner . My son is vegetarian and I can honestly say there was such a great range of food to choose from and a lot more than you would expect for a 3/4 star hotel . The food hall manager was amazing and all of the staff we encountered were so friendly . For breakfast you can get free tea , coffee and juices . For dinner no drinks are included but once you are at table a waiter will come along and see if you want anything . We usually asked for a few diet cokes and they came From bottles and very good prices. You then get a receipt and you pay on the way out of the restaurant . Beach- 2/3 mins walk away . 8 euros for a sun lounger but please barter as they let us have 6 for 30 euros. Beach was very choppy whilst we were here so young children will need full supervision. Pool- only my 7 year old daughter went into the pool normally late afternoon and she had no complaints at all . Was rarely anyone else in there. Location - fab location . Short walk away from the local town with loads of shops. Even though we went end of October I would say about a third of the shops were open but still more than enough. Washing- if you need any clothes washed the hotel does offer a service but this was expensive . There is a laundrette at the petrol garage 2 mins away from the hotel and a 5kg wash costs 5 euros and a 7.5kg wash cost 7.5 euros . The washing liquid and conditioner automatically goes into the machine . Please don’t let any of the bad reviews put you off. We aren’t fussy but we also wouldn’t stay in a poor hotel and this was such a great hotel for an amazing price . If you are considering booking this hotel then please do . You won’t regret it and please ask if you have any questions . We also didn’t see anyone begging for money as a past review had mentioned and felt very safe in the area . As said above we found all staff very friendly even when we had to change rooms as the set up wasn’t as we had booked but this was done very quickly and no complaints at all .

Exceptional from all levels , the location is just in-front of the beach and with a magical view. In the center of everything around restaurants and shops. The staff are amazing , very helpful and accommodating for any recommendations and reservations needed. The interior of the hotel is just indescribable with amazing view of the sea. Every room has different unique finishing and very clean. we stayed there with the family for 1 week and we really wished to stay longer as it really felt home. The breakfast is very fresh and coffee is a must try ! Highly recommended and definitely it will be our destination. Thank you Maria and all staff for this unique stay!

It is with considerable disappointment that I pen this review. Our experience at SANT JORDI, a purported 5-star property, fell drastically short of our expectations and has left us questioning the credibility of its rating. Upon our late-night arrival, we were eager to unwind and revel in the luxury amenities, especially the bathtub, which was a pivotal factor in our selection of this hotel. However, the excitement quickly morphed into disillusionment when we encountered a large, unsightly brown stain on the side of the bath, resembling feces. This egregious lapse in cleanliness prompted immediate communication with the reception, an interaction we hadn’t anticipated. Our subsequent meticulous inspection of the room uncovered more shortcomings: black mold inhabited the shower area, posing a severe health and safety risk. Furthermore, the water tap, when operated, emitted a noise so intrusive that it had the potential to disrupt the slumber of other guests within proximity. These occurrences were not only inconvenient but also reprehensible, considering the supposed standing of the hotel. Our concerns, articulated at check-out, were met with assurances of a full refund for the inconveniences suffered. Despite this promise, the refund is yet to materialize, adding to our grievances. Our stay at SANT JORDI was marred by unacceptable cleanliness standards, glaring maintenance oversights, and unfulfilled promises, all incongruent with the hotel's purported stature. We left feeling deceived and distressed, far from the rejuvenating experience we sought. It's imperative for prospective guests to approach with caution and for the management to institute immediate rectifications, lest the hotel’s reputation suffers irreversible damage. Rating: ⭐☆☆☆☆

The hotel is pleasant to stay, very helpful staff and great breakfast. But the wifi sucks, it’s really terrible. it’s probably the last hotel in the world with blankets on the bed (pls. change it to comforters it’s really before 2nd world war that people used blankets). very annoying that people claim one of the too less relax beds at the pool with their towels before breakfast and then don’t show up for a while and the hotel staff should act against this but nothing is being done against this.

I arrived on Sunday, October 22th, with my friend. We booked a junior suite, the room was very large and it was all clean (bathroom, bed, desk and closet). The crew was very friendly and has also met us. Since the check-in was only from 14:00, but we arrived 2 hours earlier, the staff at the reception have looked for us earlier, checked out the room and left us in a time earlier accordingly. Taxi service is also available, just give the staff notice at the reception and wait 5-10 minutes. The restaurant has a proper amount of food and the Sangria was also very top! , so I would fully order another. All worked, whirlpool, air conditioning, TV and refrigerator. I would come back here with my friend and parents. PS: Please run carefully in the streets, the drivers are here a little fast on the roads. Drive 60 km/h at the Tempolimit 30.

Theres no denying the staff at front desk are receptive, attentive, friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean. The location is superb. The dining area allows you to look over at the promenade....But I wish there were some regulation / international standard with the star rating of a hotel, especially when you chose the hotel based on star rating. I would not consider Hotel Horitzo to be a 4 star hotel, compared to other hotels I've stayed at ranging from 2 star -5 star. This is due to the sheer fact that the rooms were fairly basic. A mini fridge with no snacks, drinks or appliances. There is also no water readily available for guests throughout the day. Just breakfast and maybe dinner. Upon that said, there is a small supermarket called Condis 3 minutes from the hotel, as soon as you exit the hotel, immediate right up the road till the zebra crossing left on the right. . Not far at all. The price of the hotel is based on its location. Directly across the beach. That's it's main selling point. Some rooms may come with a power shower, very impressive others do not. If you do not get a beach front view you most likely will end up looking at the local area ( residents flats). Not picturesque at all. The variety for breakfast is satisfactory. Quite limited. There are few restaurants along the beach front, dotted around the beach front which enables you to experience Blanes day and night. Blanes is a lovely place for couples, family and the elderly. I'd have had my expectations matched if it said 3 stars.
