My family and I were returning from vacation and stopped in this hotel. Staff is very welcoming. Beds are comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was good. My son said it was the best hot chocolate he's ever drunk in a hotel. ;o)

A warm welcome. The hotel was comfortable, generally very clean (apart from some hairs in the sink!) and quiet - enabling me to get some much needed sleep after a long drive.
Breakfast was decent and there was plenty of space in their car park (EUR 10 for 24 hours).

We spent a night in this hotel for a theater visit. Located at the edge of the old town it is at walking distance from the Festspielhaus. This no fuzz hotel offers spacious rooms, mine on the third floor with balcony. I had a bit the feel of an airport hotel don’t expect much charm. Staff is very welcoming at the large lobby on the ground floor with bar, the buffet breakfast is plenty and served in a spacious side room. There are conference rooms on the first floor.

It was ok at first. A business trip and the bar was shut. A few nights later, on a Friday, the bar was shut. So we headed out for food and drink. Got back about 11pm and nobody was there and I'd realised I'd left my iey in the room. I had to sleep in my car to eventually get back in my room. Night service is bad, if not terrible. Day service is good

Südlich der Fußgängerzone von St. Pölten befindet sich das Hotel Metropol. Schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber grundsätzlich gepflegt mit großem Charme eines Business-Hotels. Die Zimmer sind ok (nur der Bodenbelag aus Kunststoff war wirklich schrecklich), wir hatten eine Aussicht eher trist auf einen Innenhof. Das Frühstück war durchschnittlich - die angengeben € 17 sind meiner Meinung nach zu teuer. Wir hatten das Frühstück mit in der Zimmerpauschale, das war ok.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, das Hotel ist sauber und komfortabel. Angenehm ist die zentrale Lage in der Stadt. Leider steht kein gut funktionierendes Internet zur Verfügung.
